Not recommended at all. I drove 40 mins to get a birthday cake for my sister and it was the worst and not worth it at all. We... got the large size cake which was a big mistake for a first time try. The cake tasted weird and the cream all around was crackedand fell off. I asked the girl at the store about the crack and i told her that ut doesn?t look fresh but she insured me thatthey sell their fruit cakes day by day and its 100% fresh. The cake is at least 5 days old. The fruits on top tasted bitter.Will never try it again! Read more
They made a Venetian Cake for my wife's birthday party and some miniature cakes for party favors. The cake was loaded with fruit... and tasted great! Everybody at the party loved the cake(s). This facility sells an excellent selection of pastries, miniaturecakes, ice cream and a small selection of cards and cake decorating paraphernalia. There's plenty of room to eat there if youchoose. They delivered all the... way to the Detroit Princess Riverboat on the Detroit River and everyone absolutely loved the taste and look of the cake. One of the best bakeries around! I come here every once and a while to treat myself and I'm never disappointed. Their mini cakes... are to die for, a great way to sample their pastry menu. I cannot say enough great things about this place ! I've placed two orders, one online in April for a birthday cake and one this... month for a fruit flan. The staff really go above and beyond for their customers. When I called in for the fruit flan theyimmediately let me know that the product normally has to be ordered several days ahead of time. However, they put me on a briefhold to check ingredients and then confirmed they could make one for me and have it ready in a few hours ???? . AMAZING! Theytotally saved the day. I?ll admit I?m kind of obsessed over this place. It?s placed right in the center of West Bloomfield near the beautiful... surrounding lakes. I?ve made it too late for cookies one night and they baked some fresh JUST FOR ME!! There?s a lady there name?Denise?, and she?s officially a friend in my head, she goes above and beyond to ensure that every experience is phenomenal.
