First time there and I have to say that it was a challenging time to get there dealing with all the construction areas. Once... there I sat at the bar and was waited on by a very nice and attentive young lady. I ordered the lobster enchiladas with somegrilled shrimp on top of them. They were very delicious as well as the margarita on the rocks. The chips and salsa were good aswell and hopefully the next time I go I'll try an alternate route. Read more
Nice atmosphere, it's clean and the margaritas are delicious. Some of the food is geared towards the American palate and not as... authentic as the name indicates. They charge for the second basket of chips which I hate and the salsa has a slight tang ofbeing stretched with tomato juice. Other wise it's an ok Mexican joint and one of 5 others in the area. Prices I found to be slightly high, menu is pages long. Margarita I ordered Mango, ended up with ? not sure? on the taste,... colour is slightly displayed in the bottom of the glass, I did try to mix! Food was to edible temperature, tasteful, flavour waspretty outstanding. The sour cream/salsa along with my mushroom quesadilla were mixed together tho in a small bowl?soggylooking. We tried Don Juan's after a friends recommendation. We tried the tacos, a steak burrito, and a combo with burrito and chalupa.... We got the Spanish rice and chips and salsa. Service was alright. Dining room was clean. Kitchen floor was dirty. Chips were stale. Salsa only tasted like onion and pepper.... Iced unsweetened tea tasted like water. Of all the Mexican restaurants in the area with a bar, this place is definetly top 3! My server Emily was very attentive,... refilling drinks before they were empty, cleaning up dishes on the table periodically between pleasant banter, Emily madewonderful suggestions as to what to pick for my first time there and she helped me take advantage of their happy hour before itended! The food was decently priced and plated nicely, plates came out hot, service was great, I would defiently recommendtrying this place out, just be sure to ask for Emily! Read more
Not good! Yucky, no homemade chips or taco shells, all store bought and ordinary!!! Chicken has consistency of wet cardboard... and zero taste not seasoned at all, very bland. One positive mango margarita was tasty. Will never return for food Read more
