I liked it. We got the pickle one and the pep in your step. One issue I had was that our dill pickle pizza had like 5 pickle... chips on the whole pie. There were 2 slices that didn\'t have pickle on them at all. Disappointing. I definitely preferred thepep in your step. It had adequate toppings and I liked the sauce. Also I wish there was less crust. Toppings and sauce shouldcome out further to the edge. I usually eat all my crust, but with it being sourdough and quite dense it was just too much. Read more

I must say that I was not happy at all how they make pizza! Dough is not even close to what authentic pizza napoletana crust... should be like. I ordered two pies from them and my one friend wouldn\'t even touch hers that I paid way too much for in thefirst place. My pie was half cooked. I give these woman a big thumbs up though for at least trying! Unfortunately I won\'t beordering from them anymore cause I will be starting up my own little pizza venue that follows the strict ingredients needed tomake an authentic pizza napoletana form Italy ???????? Flour Girl & Flame wood-fired Detroit style pizza is out of this world! Best Detroit style pizza we’ve had this side of Lake... Michigan to date. We tried the “Pep in your step” and the “Smolwaukee.” Both were incredible! Loved the foragedmushrooms on the Smolwaukee, great addition to the classic sausage, mushrooms and onion! This is elevated pizza at it’sfinest. In addition to the delicious pizza, we had excellent burrata salad and cocktails to boot!\n\nHave tried Flour Girl &Flame twice now, once at Zocalo food truck park and most recently at the Pier Garden at the Starling, both times have beenconsistently amazing! This is one of my favorite local establishments not only because of their high quality ingredients, recipes, and cooking, but... because of their team and commitment to support the community in so many ways (advocacy, philanthropy, investing in other localbusinesses as vendors). The sourdough crust is special. The wood fired trailer experience is special. The hot honey produced bybees who live in the chef’s yard is special. Worth checking out for so many reasons! (During the pandemic my entire teamenjoyed the “make-at-home” kit as part of our remote holiday party - see pic for my not-a-chef creation!) Read more

I have dreams about this pizza! Very tasty Neapolitan inspired wood-fired pizzas with fresh local ingredients. Not had one I... haven’t liked. Favorites have been some of the seasonal and special pizzas like their autumn pizza with butternut squash.I’ve also had the “Resting Brunch Face” pizza and that was great as well. But a simple margherita pizza satisfies mycravings too! Can’t go wrong here. Plus you’re supporting a locally owned business! Read more
