Ordered a customized cake for my fiancés birthday. Had a friend go to pick it up and they said they never got the order. Showed... them a confirmation email that it should have been ready and they claimed they never got it. Luckily instead of him having nocake, they had 3 left that was already made. We didn?t receive anything for the inconvenience. My number was left for theirmanager to call me since they didn?t have a manager that day and it?s been days but haven?t received any type of phone call. Hewas really excited for the cake and it was such a bummer that we had to also go with a smaller cake. We love cold stones cakesbut wish we could have got what we ordered and planned for. Read more

Unfortunately, I've been quite disappointed with the quality of Cold Stone Creamery, one of the last ones in the Milwaukee... area. Back in March of 2017, I ordered a birthday cake online that looked like the cake with the red lettering. What I receivedwas the cake with the green lettering. Speaking of lettering, there was a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters. When youlooked at it from the side, it did not go straight across. I reached out to the manager who apologized and said I could get afree cake in return, but after I responded, I heard nothing. Recently, in July 2022, I decided to give Cold Stone another trywhen searching for a last minute birthday cake for my husband. I was envisioning the large freezer in the front of the storefull of options for a quick pick up. When I got there it was empty/ not working. Luckily there were two cakes in the back thathappened to be of the same flavors. I needed two small cakes because they did have any large ones in stock. The two cashiersthat were helping me laughed as they placed the cakes. I thought it was odd, but moved past it. Later that evening while openingthe cakes I noticed two very different cakes of the same kind. One cake looked great and the other well, looks as though a childmade it- similar to the one I ordered in 2019. Later we learned that the smaller cake was missing a layer of ice cream. In the middle of an icecream rush, the employee asked me what I wanted to order and then after telling them my order, they... proceeded to walk away from me and go into the back of the store. This was very rude! 2 of the workers were doing all the workand the others were just sitting there. Poor teamwork between the workers, no communication, the counters were disgusting withtoppings, melted icecream and chocolate all over the place. The tubs of icecream were left out on the counter to melt. Goodthing the health department didn't see how disgusting this place was, they would have shut you down! Read more

There is a certain level of competency you should expect from individuals who work in fast casual restaurants so I don?t know... why I?m surprised. After I ordered this large African American female employee told me that the icecream was too hard to scoop.She made my first order which melted while she proceeded to run hot water over the flavor of icecream I ordered. Then she filledthe second order with approximately 2 extra scoops more than the first order. I ordered two larges and it had about the sameamount of icecream as the African American individuals in front of me with mediums. I asked her to put more Icecream in the onehalf full. She then proceeded to tell me that the one with extra scoops shouldn?t be that full. The entire point of fast foodand fast casual restaurants is efficiency and consistency in what you are purchasing and one should be compensated forprecisely what they are paying for. My frustration lies in dealing with individuals compensated a low wage due to their lack ofcommon sense and education. Read more

I am HIGHLY disappointed. I spent $40 on a cake that THEY TOLD ME was chocolate cake with Oreos inside - the cake was not marked... with when it was made or when it was good until nor what it was. I got back to work and noticed the frosting was pink. When wecut the cake AT THE BIRTHDAY PARTY it was red velvet cake with vanilla frosting. My mom went to the store during the party toconfront the workers and the worker proceeded to get on my moms phone and tell me she told me she didn?t know what kind of cakeit was but I could have it and told me if I wanted a new cake I had to leave and bring my cake back in. The rude customerservice and huge mess up in cake is a huge disappointment and I wasted a lot of money on this. Not to mention who knows whenthis cake was made or is good until!!!!
