One of the best/worst kept secrets in all of Texas right off the side of I-35 in between Hillsboro and Waco. I have been coming... here since I was a teenager and it never disappoints. One of the best pastry and roll shops you will ever visit. I'd give them6 stars if I could. Read more

Most of the items we got were pretty good...we really enjoyed the jalepeno cheese bread, strawberry cream cheese kolache, the... pastrami on homemade rye bread sandwich and the Reuben on homemade rye bread sandwich (best rye bread we've ever had!). Wedidn't like the sausage kolache (it was overbaked and was dry), the egg salad sandwich lacked flavor, and the blueberry muffinwas more like cake and was way too wet. Read more

This is the real deal if you want kolaches! Huge selection of both sweet and meaty kolaches. Staff was super helpful and... friendly. The taste is unbelievable good. I make it a point to stop here every time when traveling. It does get busy but theline moves smoothly. Read more

Every time we pass through West, we have to stop at the Little Czech Bakery to load up on our favorite treats. They have the... best molasses cookies in the world! Fortunately, I got the last one. Their kolachies have perfectly baked bread and deliciousfillings. The pies, cookies, cakes, biscuits, cake balls, and everything else we have tried are absolutely delicious. The linewas long, snaking through the store, but the path was well-marked and moved quickly. Despite the notices posted of beingshort-staffed, they know how to work efficiently, and we were soon on our way with sweet rewards. Read more

The pastries are ok. I was hoping to get real European style bread or rolls but the bread they sell looks just like the squishy... stuff you get at any grocery store. I bought a Czech stop burger with cheese and pickles and this was delicious. Read more

I had a good experience here. I enjoyed the unique and tasty flavors of the bohemian food. I love trying food from different... cultures. They have a few booths to sit down to eat at. The coffee is cheap. If you're looking for the best values they have dayold sandwiches for $2 each. You can buy frozen baked goods or loaves of their dessert breads or by the piece behind the displaycounters. They have a nice variety. I also like that the kolaches are not overly sweet but have a nice balance of a hint ofsour. There are also a few neat items in the gift shop area. Read more
