The service felt tense, but might have just been cause they were running a special that day. The BBQ pork and brisket was... delicious, and the baked beans so good!! The macaroni and cheese was just basic standard Mac and cheese. We also had anappetizer, loaded tater tots. Those were really really good! We were really impressed with the remodel inside the restaurant. It's modernized, more roomy and clean. The food presentation... has improved. The ribs seem larger and there are new menu items which sound and look delicious, such as the bowls. Read more
Sometimes you just need those familiar flavors, and that’s what Sonny’s is for me. I remember coming here as a kid and it... was something we all look forward to. This Sonny’s location is beautiful! I know there aren’t many locations around thesedays so traveling from Tampa was well-worth it! We are so happy we found this place. The indoor space here is beautiful. Lotsof available seats for many visitors. They were busy when we visited, but the service was not compromised one bit. Our serverwas friendly and courteous and the food came out quickly and was great. The only downfall was the bathroom tidiness along withthe lack of supplies in the bathroom, but no big deal….lack of staff I get it…it happens. Overall, we enjoyed ourself!
