Compliments to the chef!!! Well, I know the theme of the restaurant is incorporating an Irish theme. But 'Fish N Chips' does... originate from Great Britain and I will say being British, the cod and Chips we just ate here, was as good as anything we wouldget in The United Kingdom. The batter was cooked beautifully (that is probably the hardest part to cook right) because cookingor deep frying fish is not only an art form, the batter is a make or break. You can have a good one or a bad one. This one, wasa good one! In fact a very very good one. Not too thick or yellow but nice and light and the cod was cooked to perfection, lightand flaky clean cuts of cod. Well done! We walked in right before the pouring rain! The bar was a little busy. I saw only one person working , she was busting tail! We... had the fish n chips, fried pickles & the debbie sandwich . The food was good. The atmosphere seems cool, wouldn't mind goingback at night for some drinks. The waitress was Michelle & the ( I think) manager Ricky did an excellent job today! My family and I went this past Sunday, around 3pm-ish. There was barely anyone in there, and the service was pretty slow. I... get that this is a pub, but there are children's items on the menu. The men's restroom did not have a changing table and Ipresume the women's might have had one...but the handicap stall was blocked off. I had to change my baby in the space betweenthe sinks. The tables were ridiculously sticky, and no amount of wiping them made them any less sticky. The waitress came withour drinks fairly quick, but it took a while for our appetizer, and then the waitress seemed kind of shocked we were going toorder food. It took forever for our food to come. It was pretty tasty, so that's why I'm giving 2 stars. But, I don't thinkwe'll be back. Read more
Awesome place! Staff is always top notch and friendly. The Guiness is poured as a proper pint and the whiskey selection will... warm your heart. Been half a dozen times, great every time. Read more
Fun atmosphere, they have live music at times, great drinks and food! More of a sports bar vibe than a restaurant, but the Irish... feel is there. I definitely recommend the Bread Pudding. The happy hour specials are great as well as the whiskey selection! Read more
Excellent and attentive service by the bar staff who made great recommendations throughout our meal. The food came out quickly... and was hot and fresh. The bread ???? pudding with bourbon caramel sauce was especially good ???? Crispy outside, soft inside,best bread pudding ???? you could ask for! Read more
First time visiting this restaurant, didn't realize that is was as small as it was. Wasn't that busy for a Friday night. The... music selection wasn't great and when we asked out waitress who choose the music she said corporate. They should consider theJukebox that customers can pay to play music they like. The live music was out but for such a small spot it was very loud andyou can't really talk at your table without having to yell. The food was okay we ordered nachos, the chips were not that great.We had a few beers and the service from the bar was slow. Good one time visit not for me but maybe for others. Read more
I was very excited to try this restaurant. However, I was let down. Food was ?eh?. Definitely not worth the price. The Macho... Nachos specifically were $15 and came very light on toppings. The service was terrible. We came when it was not very busy at allbut the server left me without water from appetizer through the rest of the meal, we sat for around 7 minutes waiting for thebox we asked for before even getting the check, getting the check also took forever, our kids never got the ketchup they askedfor which we didn?t get the chance to remind her because she didn?t come to check on us one time after the food was dropped. Ionly ever saw her go to 3 tables so to the best of my knowledge she was not slammed. I would have had way more patience if thathad been the case. Overall, we won?t be returning and nor should you.
