Food was excellent. I didn't care for the tres leches cake for it was too soggy for my liking.. I enjoyed their barbecue taco... though a bit pricey You can actually make two tacos out of it so the price is matched. I also ordered the chichcharoon taco.. Only complaint I have is somebody saved my credit card information and tried to charge my PayPal 619.00... I can't prove itwas this Restaurant so I changed my review rating simply because the establishment contacted me by email.. I will rate the foodas 5 stars . 2 stars for service because I paid for my Tacos and they failed to provide hot sauce and napkins.. My order was wrong and when I let the manager know, they did come out and bring the right item, however, after waiting an extra... 10-15 minutes, he asked for the incorrect item back, and then threw it in the trash can in front of me, without even opening itto see it was wrong. At first I thought he wanted it back to confirm it was incorrect, but if you're just going to throw itaway, might as well let the customer keep it at least as compensation for having to sit there and wait longer. It was good, haven't been to a Taco Palenque for some time now. That seems as if Tortillas got smaller hmm. Another thing what... happen to breakfast specials use to be buy 1 get one FREE. Selected breakfast tacos. Went and asked for that they said wehaven't had that in ages.. wow!. Now this small taco for 2.00 cone on now taco palenque seriously!! Yall gotten so shysty noteven funny. But, the store was nice had friendly staff too. Only got 2 tacos and left. But wasn't that happy for what I paidfor. So ok I guess. I suppose it is a trend now with every restaurant serve less charge more lol. Nothing but the truth guys. Ialways said I'm not gonna sugar coat things say it as I see it. Taco palenque use to be awesome. Now they just fallen off thepedestal and become your basic taco over priced .SMH!.don't let the pic full you it is a close picture but almost same size asyour average corn tortillas. Read more
We usually go to the Harlingen location but the past few times they have failed us. So we decided to try this location. The... cashier was very knowledgeable and courteous. Their salsa bar was fully stocked and very clean. And their unsweetened tea wasfull! Loved this location. We will definitely be back! Read more
Lots of space! I wanted bfast and it was perfect for what I was looking for! Also, I love PIBB, its my FAVE and its not sold in... stores. They have it on fountain!!! Yum! The chips and salsa are my close 2nd favorite thing about the place. Lol! Yummy! Read more
I freaking love this place. I spend more than I want to every time, but it is just so good. Salsa bar is fantastic. Gotta love... that guac sauce. I want to eat my way through the menu, but between the nachos, pirata, and fajitas burrito, I can't find thetime or stomach space. My whole family loves it. Not only is this place 24 hours, they have a drive through AND awesome tacos. I had a steak taco and a carnitas (pork) taco. All... were served quickly and super yummy. They have a bar where you can grab all the taco toppings you would want (onion, cilantro,hot sauce..etc). They also have all you can eat chips, which were salted perfectly. Read more
The food here is good as to why we always give it a chance. The salsa tatemada is my favorite. The reason for 2 stars is for the... amount of money being spent, they really skimp on the meat. That is why we think too much about going here. Although iys good wenever get our moneys worth. I didn't take a before picture but thats the full order of panchos.
