Food was hot and fresh. I ordered the 2pc fish w/2 sides. Fries were hot and the cole slaw was cool and tasty. Tarter sauce was... cool and tasted real. Fish was hot with crispy and flavorful batter. A real treat. Read more
Hot stuff was hot, cold stuff was cold. Fish n chiken dinner was pretty good. Coleslaw was lacking. Counter staff were pleasant... and helpful. Place was clean, plenty of parking, price a tad pricey but overall good+. Read more
I usually only go to Long John Silvers during Lenten season and the food is usually good. Yesterday I went and ordered a fish... and shrimp platter through the drice thru. Not Good. When I got home my bag, box and napkins were soaking in grease to thepoint that they were soggy. I was so hungry so started eating it anyway. The rice had a horrible taste. Both the rice andcorn tasted old and as though they had been reheated. The corn container was proof that they had reheated old and cold foodbecause it being styrofoam was melted on one side. I managed to eat some of the shrimp, one fillet and the corn because I hadalready gotten home and was so hungry, but I had to stop as I suddenly developed the worst stomach ache I have ever felt in mylife. Long John Silver is not what it use to be from back in days. This particular one I was glad was still only them and not... attached to a taco bell. Service was good, area was clean, ordered the two piece and fries. Was brought to us steamy hot.Just was too oily. Fries was ok. Pricey for what I ordered. Overall rating would be a 6 for clean, friendly customerservice, Fish could be less oily. Would still recommend. Some people might like it that way. Read more
Friendly, courteous. But, they forgot to tell us that the tacos had Chile del monte. Too, ???? hot.
I haven't been to any LJS in quite a while but I thought I'd give it a try again. Not good. The shrimp was rubbery and tasted... like it was cooked last week. The fish was soaked in grease and the fries were limp and tasteless. Manteca City! The service wasOK...it's hard to blame the help since they do as they are trained and told. Another negative was the price. $11 plus for themeal was no bargain, all things considered. Read more
Ok so not being a Karen but, I get to the intercom and someone takes my order. I get to the window and someone else asks me what... I would like to order. I reorder and she doesnt give me my drink. I ask about my drink and she said I didnt order one. I tellher that I ordered at the intercom and was specific about what I ordered. She excuses herself as not the one who took my orderbit rather her manager who is cooking and shes running the counter and cleanup and they dont have other personnel working thisshift. I ask if they are hiring and she says they are not currently hiring. So what is going on here? The manager wont bringanyone else in to work on a Saturday and shes stuck running the kitchen and the second person chasing her tail running the restof the restaurant. This is reflected in the food they are serving at that moment. Hence the picture provided. Who overcookscorn in a chain restaurant ? Bad management or understaffed location? I think both... Read more
