Loved our amazing waitress, she was friendly and offer great suggestions. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun. The gumbo is the... best I've ever had out in a restaurant. We had fried mushrooms and the seafood platter. They were out of oyster but offeredextra shrimp, fish and crawfish. Onion rings were perfectly cooked. So glad we found this place on our trip west. Stopped here last night on the way home from Florida. The staff was incredibly attentive and the food was very good. The shrimp... two ways was excellent but next time I go back, I may just order the Shrimp Creole. Light and just spicy enough served overperfectly cooked rice. Stopped here in Welsh, Louisiana on the way from San Antonio to NOLA. Great Cajun style seafood place just a block off the... highway. Waitstaff was extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered the shrimp po boy and my wife had red beans and rice. Thefood was delicious and the service was top tier. Great job Cajun Tales!!!!! Read more

Very good seafood. Amie was an excellent waitress. I had the fried shrimp and it was yummy. We all had a delightful time... dining. Will plan to go again when visiting the area. They have free WiFi and ample parking. The restrooms were clean and welllit. Read more
