The food is always fantastic, the service last time we went was not great. We sat in the bar area down stairs and ordered drinks... as soon as we sat down along with our food. It took the bartender 37 mins to bring our drinks to the table she walked aroundwith the tray of our drinks took them outside back inside then back outside 3 times going past our table before giving them tous. Any time we needed something wether it was a refill or condiments or check it took a good 10-15 minutes. AMAZING FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE I moved from the Philadelphia area to WV about 2 years ago and have been missing some of my... favorite food from the town I was from. Fried chicken and great wings were definitely something I was searching for but alsosomewhere where the customer service matched the foods quality. Well this is the place. I got the fried chicken which wasamazing and probably better than my goto spot from back home. The wings were amazing and really hit the spot. The baked beansthat came with my chicken were spicy which I loved and the coleslaw was amazing also. On a scale of romances to documentaries, Drover's Inn is a bodice-ripper romance. Tucked away off of Washington Pike, it's easy... to miss, but it's definitely something to turnaround for. Parking is plentiful, and our group was seated quickly. While ourlocal friends encouraged us to order the wings, I deviated for the baby back ribs, and I honestly should have stuck with thewings! Nice place out of the way, great food. The service has always been good. This place is always jam packed every time we come... here. The food is delicious we always get the wings. We usually get enough to take some home for the next day. We really enjoycoming here. It's not to bad of a drive to get here. Do yourself a favor and go check it out your stomach will thank you. This has been my favorite local restaurant for 20 years. I recommend the wings and seasoned fries with cheddar cheese. The... restaurant is an old colonial house with 2 floors and a bar in the basement. If you're a younger crowd, I suggest taking a tablein the bar section. If you prefer a quiet dinner, sit upstairs. Today was our first visit and we absolutely loved it. I had the chicken wings and the fried chicken. They were perfectly... prepared!!! The staff was great and the location is rich in beauty (if you enjoy historic places). I highly recommend this placeto eat as well as a quick tour. ???? Read more
