My husband and I had lunch here. The hostess and waitresses were so friendly. You can tell that they take pride in their job and... are genuinely happy that you are there. We both had club sandwiches on homemade rye bread. They were so huge that we hadleftovers. The French fries were not greasy and very tasty. They have cases of baked goods and many customers come in just forthose items. This was such a great find at a gas station! Read more

If you will be in the vicinity of P&H truck stop, do yourself a favor and get there hungry. The restaurant serves fantastic... roadside American fare and the baked goods are amazing too. There are many people who drive far out of their way just for aslice of their pie! Highly recommended! Read more
We stopped in for a quick breakfast today. Food was great, service was fast and friendly and portions were decent size for the... price. Biggest gripe was the excessive amount of black flies! We had 4 flying around our table while we ate. Not only annoying,but makes me wonder what the cleanliness of the kitchen is with the flies swarming around. Waitress was notified andacknowledged the problem. Not sure if we will be returning due to the flies alone. 3.5 stars if I could! Read more

We went in October - WOW! such good food - hardy, generous portions; great friendly service - and each table has a note that... Truckers get priority service since they are working (and delivering our goods) - totally love that attitude; but you got tohave the good food to back it up - and they do! Read more
Have to say we noticed the difference in the meals not being as good since the Corporation took over. Use to have good food... home made food. but not so great Example is turkey dinner as a special and came with chicken gravy. Definitely not asubstitute. Another was fried chicken breast dinner came as something that came out of the freezer. Flat compressed chicken. Heard a lot of complaints from locals. Read more
