So glad we discovered this place today. Actually we were heading to The Maine Diner (across the street)and it was so crowded. So... we ventured across the street. It was a good move and an excellent choice. Love love love that someone has reopened their saladbar!!! The salad items were all fresh and delicious. I had the lobster roll, which was very good. Really like the roll - it wassoft on the inside and had a toasty exterior- very good. My hubby had the whole fried clams - delicious. I had one of thespecial October cocktails - it also was very good. All good things to say about this place. Read more

Old and outdated interior, had the soup and salad bar- salad was nice and fresh, the soup bar didn?t have any soup with any... appreciable meat in it , mainly broth. And the soup bowls are ?cup? sized so quite small. Would not go back Read more

Good sit down restaurant. Not that fancy or low key. Just a decent family style restaurant. We ordered the 24 inch lobster... roll to split. They use entirely claw meat which is fine given the price and expectations. I really liked the warm ciabattabread it came in. The fried calamari was good and so were the fried clams. I think all the food was just good but nothingspectacular. Read more

So the bull and claw has one of the most amazing lobster subs I have ever seen. Is 24" of lobster French bread goodness. It is... extremely simple lobster French bread some lettuce maybe a little bit of mayo with butter on it that's it. The kids pizza wss alittle sad . Mac was good. The Complimentary rolls were good. Sadly the place is extremely extremely understaffed and it's abig place had to wait about 30 minutes and then another 45 minutes just to get our dinner not their fault they're they justdon't have the people power to serve all the customers. They also have a wicked fresh salad bar according to the sign outsidebut I didn't get that. Feel free to check out my YouTube review on Review Time With Tim Read more

Not impressed. I ordered the seafood platter with broiled salmon, stuffed shrimp and scallops. All of the fish was over cooked... and the stuffing looked like it had been around for a VERY long time. Also ordered a raspberry tea that had an odd aftertaste -might have been the water. All in all, it?s your typical coast of Maine tourist seafood place. Note to self - don?t go back tothis one! Should have known by the lack of cars in the lot! Read more

My sister and her boyfriend took me here for lunch. The place is cute and quaint. The main reason for us being here was the... clam chowder and the 2 foot lobster rolls. The clam.chowder was piping hot and chunky with clams. At first we were told afterplacing our lobster orders that the shipment didn't come in today. Just as we were going to leave we were told that the lobstersarrived! So we got 1 2-foot butter lobster roll and 1 2-foot cold lobster roll. Hands down best food I've had in a long time.We also got mussels that were really good. Read more

Denise was so fantastic! She made our time at the B&C amazing. The baked haddock special, the pork chop special, and never... ending soup and salad did us in so fast with the best ingredients! It wasn't even just the tons of fresh prepared ingredientsbut also the potato salad, hard boiled eggs, pasta salad, etc. It was incredible! I'd recommend this to anyone! There'ssomething for everyone! Read more
