Some old style tavern with great cooked western food. Was a little more on the expensive side, but there was so much food! And... they served full multiple course meal, with fresh baked bread, a soup and a salad, as well as your main meal. It was awesome andwouldn't hesitate to stop in again on my way through. Read more

I really enjoyed my marinated steak. The service was good. They're a bit slower than what I'm used to but it wasn't horrible. I... would give them a 5 but the soup was extremely salty, the baked potato was overdone and they put my watermelon wedge in themarinade. It's a good environment with friendly service. Read more

Stumbled across a little place called Wellington on a road trip across the USA ???????? - Cowboy kitchen was recommended to us... from a local, so we gave it a go. They did not disappoint! Comfy chairs to start, if a little worn. A nice quick service withone of the best most flavoursome soups I've ever had and a nice warm loaf brought out to accompany it. The steak fingers I hadto start were perfectly cooked and my main of a medium rare burger was cooked to perfection. Honestly, if you find yourselfstopping nearby or even just passing through Wellington, this place is worth your time to stop and eat. Thanks to all at cowboykitchen. As for portion size, you won't be disappointed. Read more

We stayed the night at a local rv park while passing through on our way to Salt Lake City. This place was recommended to us so... we gave it a try. Excellent food and service. The home made bread and soup was delicious. The burgers were brilliant and portionsizes were huge. Would highly recommend this place if you are in town. Read more

This restaurant is a diamond in the desert. Looking for a place to eat while town, do not skip this restaurant. Food was... delicious and the portions are big and very affordable. The service received by the waitress was excellent. It may not look likea five Star restaurant like the big cities from the outside, but it's definitely a place to go. Steak was juicy and delicious. We were a group of 9 and they were able to accommodate our group and feed us pretty quickly. Read more

I LOVED this place! The atmosphere is very cozy and they have a coal burning stove running giving it a rustic smell. Employees... were very friendly and catered to us. The homemade bread is AMAZING! It's very soft and is a must have. The prices may seemhigh, but the portions are HUGE! Everything is homemade from the fries to the gravy. The curly fries were so delicious anddidn't require any ketchup. We played two rounds of pool in the back after our meal which was a nice way to end the day. Ifyou're every in the area, you need to eat at this gem. The outside may not look the best, but it's a must stop. Read more

Food deserves a 5, but the service is so slow (1 hour + wait) and the servers are often inattentive...(though it might be a... symptom of Covid and struggling with finding enough employees). Portions are SO big and the prices are reasonable. Mosteverything is homemade to some degree, which is great. We only come here about once a year, but with the long wait and lowenergy, that's enough.
