So, ya...just go! First off, the service was very warm and friendly. But the food...oh my. We had dumplings and Singapore... Noodles. The noodles were very enjoyable, but the dumplings were simply incredible! We honestly got lucky on this one as wetried to get into several other places that were fully booked and basically stumbled onto Idle Wild...which is an absolute gem! Read more

Paul had a delicious Fluke Fish, BokChoy/Eggplant and spicy side slaw on Friday's lunch special that was amazing. The fish was... done perfectly and so it was all so fresh with the flavours absolutely well balanced. Love it! Read more

I had been eyeing this place for awhile and finally had the opportunity to go with a group of six other diners. We tried a... variety of offerings, and we found the dishes to be a little ?hit and miss?. The dumplings, coconut curry and popcorn chickenwere standouts (the chicken especially). The broccoli beef lacked some flavour, and the chili chicken was very disappointing. Itfelt like some components were missing from certain dishes. The service was friendly, but timing was awkward for certain things.Like how one person in our group got served a bubble tea long before any of us got our first drinks, and even that was a bit ofa wait. Beer takes little preparation compared to bubble tea, so not sure what the deal was there. Overall, I do think I will goback someday to see if they?ve improved. But for now I think I?ll try some other places. Read more

Wonderful little find, Asian food, in the heart of Wellington. Cute little patio, doesn?t seat too many and one picnic table to... the side seats maybe ten. Waitresses were very sweet and friendly and provided great helpful service. The dumplings wereabsolutely amazing and a must try. My other favourite was the salmon tartar?a touch of lime just makes it so perfect. We triedthe crab makis, which had a little spicy kick and the beef/broccoli noodles which was good but a little too salty for my palate.I would order everything all over again because it was so delicious. Thank you for a great experience! Read more

We were very excited to eat here but got a little disappointed!! I guess we were expecting an explosion of flavours, and we felt... that this wasn't delivered. We got the dumplings and the mango salad as starters.. dumplings were pretty good and juicy.. butthe mango salad was very underwhelming - we were dining in, and the salad came in a plastic container like it was a to go dish..all sauces and extras were in little plastic containers and were not mixed in the salad.. we thought that was a bit weird as wewere dining in and were expecting everything to be fresh and ready to eat. The sauce of the salad was also a bit plain.. weusually have mango salads that are spicy and sour, very flavorful, and this one wasn't like this. The table next to us washaving the mains and they looked good, but we decided to try a different restaurant and this was our only night in PEC and wewanted to try as many restaurants as we could :) Read more
