Reviews for The Fresh Pita Club in Wellington, FL
While the staff was nice, (This is the only star) they over sold the portion sizes and quality. We ordered a sandwich (gyro)... and a platter. With that being said The gyro had little to no meat?and the platter was just as much as a disappointment. Neveragain! Chris? Taverna FAR EXCEEDS this place! Don?t waste your time or money. Read more
I tried this place due to the reviews and I was not disappointed. Good flavor, tasted freshly made, we tried the baklava too and... it was great. Above all, there were 2 young kids behind the counter and they were polite and explained everything about the menuand gave suggestions. What a pleasant experience! Read more
Where there's fantastic people, there's fantastic food. I had the lamb beef gyro dining in. It was so delicious, that I took a... chicken kabob meal to go. Chicken kabob meal did not disappoint and I'm not a chicken person. The pita bread, definitely one ofthe best ever. Had to take some home with me. So yummy!! Read more
The food is definitely the best middle eastern / Greek food I have ever tasted with really good prices. The workers were so nice... and gave me recommendations. Definitely recommend this place!! Would give 10 stars if I could. Read more
I?m some what confused and partly disappointed. I ordered a gyro platter with fries and a side salad. Unlike any gyro and salad... I have ever had. Not in a particularly good way. The food had good flavor, but definitely was not what I expected. I paid justunder $15 for this meal. Definitely not a what I?d call a ?gyro? and I?m confused with the salad. The meat (honestly have noidea what kind) had great flavor, but only came with 4 small slices. The best part of this dish was the rice.. (looked like 2kinds of rice with garbanzo beans/chickpeas mixed in - definitely yummy!) In my experiences, a gyro is a sandwich that usuallyhas shaved meat with peppers, onion, etc. in a pita. Definitely not what this was. I?m unsure if this is because I ordered a?platter? and not just a gyro (there was 2 options, ?platter? option came with choice of 2 sides). Also, when I imagined salad,I assumed some form of lettuce would be included.. I?m not saying the food was ?bad?, it was simply not what I expected a gyroand salad to be. The flavor was there, but it was a miss for me. Probably won?t frequent here (not my metaphorical cup oftea). My suggestion for this place would be to put descriptions of each item onto their menu. I definitely would have orderedsomething more to my liking had I read some form of description. Long story short, not where to go for that American image of agyro, but the food definitely had good Mediterranean flavors. Read more
Food was amazing and the employees were very friendly and welcoming. My 2 year old loved the food and wouldn?t even let me have... a piece of his chicken. All I can say is you have to come and eat here. Read more

We got take-out chicken Shish kebab, gyro, and fresh pita and it was delicious. The tatziki sauce is light and creamy. The pita... bread is airy, light, soft, and melt in your mouth delicious. The family that runs this business is lovely- and we?ve always hadwonderful service. Read more
