Very solid bbq place. Ribs were ok, good flavor and smoke, but we a reheat, which you get places. Smoked wings were strong.
Great vibe and staff. The food was good but could be a little on the salty side. Other then that I would give it a 4 star
Would definitely come back! Outdoor space is casual with music & games and great to bring our pup. We got the pulled pork,... pulled chicken, Mac n cheese and corn bread. Everything was delicious. They even offered a pork shoulder for our dog which heloved. Highly recommend. Read more
We come to the Cape for our annual vacation once a year. We have added The Block & Tackle as one of our "must haves" for dining... out & enjoying traditional BBQ! Very reasonably priced, good portions, attentive & friendly staff! We like to sit outdoors at apicnic table & chow down, the live outdoor music was a lovely added bonus this year. Read more
Excellent restaurant for smoked meats, period! Not a good choice if you are vegetarian/vegan. This is my go-to place on the Cape... for BBQ ribs, pulled pork and chicken ? every year (and it has been many a year) I inevitably wind up here for a sit-down mealand/or take out. Highly recommend the St Louis style ribs! There is a tavern connected to the restaurant, outdoor seating in theback (with live music on occasion). Limited menu, focused on what they do best! Fun place, live music some nights, the beer garden have hammocks, corn hole and other games. They take your order and when it's... done they yell your name with a bullhorn. I got the 2 meat- ribs had excellent tooth and great smoke. Pulled pork wasfantastic, not too pulled just like I like it. Juan, Patrick and the gang will treat you right. Who would have the guessed that you would find amazing bbq on the cape? This place is wonderful and the food was amazing. We got... a to go order and found everything to be delicious and well portioned (shout out to the burnt ends in particular!). We alsofound this restaurant to be a great value and while waiting observed an awesome back patio with games and tables. It?s a verycasual and laid back vibe for sure. By far the best burger on the cape! The 1/2 rack of ribs were excellent. Fall off the bone, thick meat and smokey spices. The... wings were cooked to my liking which is extra crispy. Not many places get this concept. The BBQ sauce was very flavorful. Definitely coming back Read more
