Delicious, perfectly priced food. Clean and beautiful restaurant to eat in. Wide variety of vegetarian options, prompt and... friendly service. I got a vegetable curry and naan. The naan was thicker than I am used to but I was still very good and veryobviously homemade in the restaurant. The vegetables were cooked very well and so was the rice. It could have been spicier, butI suspect they went light on my spice based on general demographic preferences (read: white). This won't be a problem next timethough ?— I'll definitely be back and I will be asking for even spicier than "very spicy." Under $20 per entree but if youget sides it takes you to the $20-25 range. The food is always delicious (and quick to arrive) and I love the homey atmosphere inside. It's not too busy and is a great... weekend dinner out destination (especially for the college students in the area, though I'm sure everyone will enjoy it). Read more

First they said they didn't have our reserved table. Then they asked if we could only stay for 30 min for dinner, we said... no! They did end up seating us, but they definitely were trying to rush us. Hot the mixed appetizer. Food was dry and everything tasted the same. Friend ordered the mixed tandoori grill. It came 3 minutes after they put the appetizer down. All of the meatwas over cooked and dried out. 10-15 min later my meal came out with the garlic Naan. The Naan was ok, and my chicken karma wasok. When we told the waitress about the dried out meat, she said, yeah it cooks in an oven and gets like that?!? Service wasgood, but disappointed with the food. Hadn't been to singhs in a while and maybe it was an off night for them as they were crazybusy. I'll try again, not on a Saturday night. Read more

Who knows how their food is, my order never arrived! An hour after I placed an order through GrubHub, I got a call from GrubHub... saying their driver had arrived to find my order had already been picked up, and did it get delivered? Of course it didn’t,and I think they knew that. The rep calls back and says she spoke to the restaurant & unfortunately their kitchen is alreadyclosed so they can’t re-make my order. So now I get to wait a week for a refund. Way to go, Singh’s cafe! Read more

I found Singh’s to be surprisingly good, especially considering how there were only two other tables occupied at dinner time.... They started everyone out with a small cup of cauliflower soup, which was nicely seasoned. We started with samosas, which weretasty and served hot right out of the fryer. I had the saffron fish entrée and asked for hot, and it came out super hottemperature-wise and spiced just right. And on the side, the onion paratha was great, totally stuffed with onions. The servicegets a solid “A” for attentiveness without obtrusiveness. With a daughter at Wellesley College, I’ll definitely be back. Read more

Pretty room, delicious food at Singh's Cafe. The dining room is down a few steps, so feels very cosy and pleasant. We have dined... there many times over the years, and always have been delighted. After we ordered dinner the waiter brought each one of us asmall bowl of spinach soup, a treat and nice way to start. Lamb samosas were hot and came with a tray of condiments to make themspicier or add a little sweetness. That's a popular appetizer and can be vegetarian. In fact, it is easy to stay with vegetabledishes for the whole meal. Lamb Korma and chicken in dal sauce were delicious. You can order whatever level of spiciness thatyou prefer, from mild to really, really hot. The waitstaff is friendly and efficent. The room is pretty, and the table is setnicely, with authentic thalis, metal plates. Very sanitary. Singh's has a liquor license. There's plenty of street parking.Singh's was doing a brisk takeout business for customer pickup and the delivery services. As mentioned, the dining room is downa few steps from the street level, so is not handicap accessible for a wheelchair. There is a buffet at lunch every day of theweek. They take reservations, but the dining room has not been very full these days. Read more

I had driven by this place a couple of times and was curious. My aunt and I love to try new Indian food spots so we decided to... give it a go. Initially parking was a bit tough because there were meters but also signs saying we couldn't park there. Idecided to risk it and park anyways, which worked out fine in the end I didn't get a ticket. The restaurant itself is extremelycomfortable and cozy, while tables are still socially distanced. The food was absolutely divine. We had the veggie samosastarter and then I had the butter chicken and my aunt had the chicken curry. We also ordered a naan bread. The flavors in thecurry were perfect and the naan was huge and soft and melts in your mouth. Another top option for Indian food in the area Read more

Good food here. Taste wise Singh’s cafe is unmatched in and around the Boston area for Indian food. I think the prices are... relatively higher than what you’d find elsewhere. The staff are super helpful with their guidance on ordering. We love theSamosas from here. Their peshawari naan and Kulfi are also quite a delight for those with a sweet tooth. You should definitelytry the cocktails here that are made with an Indian twist. Overall, our group was very satisfied with the food at Singh’s. Read more
