Lunch menu is good and the food is fresh. Very clean and the staff is friendly. I was so glad my GPS directed me off the highway... because of traffic, or I wouldn't have found this place. Read more

We were traveling back to Sugar Land on Interstate 10 and decided to exit the highway in Weimar, TX searching for dessert. The... GPS led us to Kountry Bakery. We arrived pretty close to closing time (2:00 p.m.) so the selection was a little lite. However,we were met with a kind greeting and smile. After some indecision from us, and a lot of patience from the sales person, wedecided to go with the apple fritters. We enjoyed the fritters and I put this spot on my list. Read more

A MUST stop off I-10. It was a 5 minute detour into downtown Weimar and we found a great local bakery. The apple fritter was the... best we have ever had ? uniquely large and the perfect sweetness. The kolaches were delicious with unique meet (venison, pork, etc). Bonus they warmed them up! Our first time visit but will not be our last. This is very local and everything we tried wastop notch and unique compared to donut shops. Read more

I'm a country bumpkin, living in this sesspool they call northwest Houston, yes I live out in the deep part of Harris county,... and because I do alot of traveling because of the type of work I do, I find it refreshing to go to these so called hick townsthat I grew up in, people are so much friendlier, and played back like me, my advice is never get in a rush, take time to smellthe rose and if your order takes longer it's because country folk take time to give you the best of the best. Life is short, take it from a old, man enjoy every day while you can . Read more

I've never had lunch here (yet) but their polish sausage pigs in a blanket are to DIE for! My mouth is watering just thinking... about them - especially on a cold dreary day. They always come out very hot and fresh and if they are a little cold, the galsat Kountry Bakery will warm them up for you (free of charge). Read more
