This store runs a weekly ad...then they don't stock all of the items in the ad. They blame it on supply shortages and being... shorted from their "distributor". Perhaps they should order the sale items well in advance , if possible...notproduce,etc...but frozen foods for sure... OR GET A DIFFERENT DISTRIBUTOR............ This week they ran an ad for CedarcrestIce Cream. The normally stock the flavors: French Vanilla, New York Vanilla, Mackinac Island Fudge, and Black Cherry...but thisweek with the 3/$10 sale, I only found 1 carton of Black Cherry, despite going into the store 4 different days...! THEY SAIDTHEY CAN'T GET THE PRODUCT FROM THEIR DISTIBUTOR...Cedarcrest is from Manitowoc, WI. There shouldn't be any "supply chainissues" over a 300 mile distance........AND THEY REFUSE TO GIVE RAIN CHECKS!!!! (like Wayne King did) . Perhaps they need a newdistibutor.The new owners need to learn how things operate in small towns. WORD WILL GET AROUND FAST...This would have neverhappened if Wayne King were still alive and well.......................... Read more
Appreciate the breadth of selection, especially in the drinks and produce section and that there are vegan and other options as... our crew and those we entertain sometimes have dietary needs/restrictions and we know we can find at least something at Wayne'sfor them! Read more
Helpful and knowledgeable, friendly staff, great sales. I enjoy shopping here. Good chicken from the deli, too! Edit for recent... visit. They were holiday weekend busy. They got new self check outs put in, I didn't use them because they were all taken. Mycashier was a very polite teen, she did a good job and stayed patient with me. There was a bagger there who was the keeper ofthe firewood keys and he paid attention and was on top of it when he heard me order some. He helped me get it in my cart andall, and was also very polite. Good job, holiday weekend staff, you guys are doing awesome! Read more
WAYNES FOOD PLUS GROCERY STORE Webster, Wisconsin CLEAN STORE AWARD ???? CONVENIENCE AWARD ???? Wayne?s Food Plus has always... amazed me, coming from the cities. It has things there you might not find other places! The best things I think they do aretheir meats and their alcoholic beverage selections. They even had my special brand of caffeine free pop, which I can?t findsometimes down in the cities. We?re new to the area but have visited extensively in the past 10-15 years off and on. I?d triedsome of their Ribeye steak hamburger meat on the grill, and OMG it?s amazing!! In the past I?ve also had their cuts of prime riband pork ribs. Each time Wayne?s Foods did not disappoint. Nice grocery store with pretty good selection, good chicken dinners from deli. Closes fairly early during the week, 7 I think.... Not sure if there's different seasonal hours or not. Good liquor selection. Read more
