My husband and I come in here a lot since summer started. The drinks are tasty, the boba is fantastic, the workers are super... friendly, and they're fast. The location is also clean. So I recommend coming here, it's a good place for drinks!???? Howevermy biggest complaint is that they're consistently very stingy with the milk cap at this location. Even when you ask for itthick, or extra or double (and pay extra) the milk cap is almost always meager. Not sure if this is because of management or ifthey just don't make enough to serve a lot, but for comparison, I have a picture of a milk cap from this location and from theLouisiana St. location. (The Bellaire location serves their milk cap similar to the Louisiana one, it's also very thick,especially when you say extra.) and often the drinks here aren't filled to the top. Like I said, I suspect it's amanagement-being-frugal kind of thing, but it's a bummer to an otherwise great place. Read more
The workers are always so friendly and sweet! I come in a few times a week and they always greet me with smiles and waves, it?s... nice to feel welcomed. The shop is overall very clean and so cute! I was so excited to find a place with boba close to my homeand I?m so glad this place was the first one I tried. When I came in the first time, I wasn?t sure what to get and they were sohelpful to help me pick out something and now I have a new favorite drink! Normally have great experiences with this place. If I order for delivery, they generally call to let me know they're out of... something I ordered so we can arrange for a sub. Lately, however, has been frustratingly bad. One order just neverarrived--that's a GrubHub issue, the worst of the delivery services, but that is a rant for another time. This time, both drinksin my order had something wrong and that's on this location. One drink was completely wrong leading me to believe that theymixed up the drinks in someone else's order. The other drink was made incorrectly with different toppings added. If this was anissue with being out of things, then call, as they have done in the past. But this time they just threw some toppings in andcalled it a day. I would have rather no toppings and miss out on the 50 cent surcharge than this abominable mix of toppings theyadded. I'll give them one more try, because they're normally pretty great, but will definitely not be using for delivery untilthey drop GrubHub. Read more
Their Tapioca was so undercooked at this location that it was hard in the center and inedible... The Thai milk tea tasted like... syrup as well. This location just needs a revisit on preparation. Read more
While we're waiting for kids to get their teeth cleaned next door, we decided to go grub a drink. We had Kung Fu tea from... Montrose area and Bellaire, so we were familiar. I got a plaine black tea, which is super strong (loved it) and my husband gottaro milk tea with boba. He said it was okay. I have to say other locations did make tea slightly better.
