Amazing food, service and view! Party of 14, last minute move up on time honored without a problem. Everyone enjoyed their meals... and their White Pizza with Artichokes and Roasted Red Peppers was a big hit! Very clean and staff attentive. Had never been there until a recent visit. The place is beautiful with so many windows overlooking the marina and bay. We sat at... the wraparound bar and enjoyed a couple of drinks and munchies. After three gentlemen left we took their spot. I think thebartender should have wiped down the bar after they left; their swizzle sticks and some crumbs were left there. When we got ourdrinks, no cocktail napkins or coasters were used. The menu and the food we saw coming out looked fabulous. We shared jerkchicken fajitas and onion rings, which were very good. The bar is huge and classy looking -- it would be nice if you could seeacross it, but the view is blocked by a divider and bottles of booze. Also, country music was all that played and am not a fan.So, it's kind of bizarre that we really enjoyed the place with these comments, but we did! Stopped in for a quick lunch. Super impressed. I had a Seafood Grilled Cheese, which was chock full of seafood, with great... flavor. Gf had a Margarita pizza (definitely not spelled right, and I'm annoyed cause I was an English major) and loved thesauce. We also had the wings, which the menu bragged were wood fired, wood grilled. The drinks were good, lots of good beers on tap to choose from. Decent wines too. Then the food. The calamari and pizza came out... together. The calamari needed to be fried at a higher temperature, it just wasn't crispy. The pizza was thin as a wood firepizza should be yet chewy like the dough was overworked and the gluten never had an opportunity to rise. Brody?s On The Bay is a comfortable, bay view experience with wonderful lively staff. The service was top notch. Our waiter was... polite and helpful. Even with a bad knee we were able to sit outside. Now that is true service. Let?s talk about the food. TheCaesar salad was tasty, the dressing was nice and the addition of bacon added good flavor. The pizza was spectacular? the brickoven showcases a crispy crust, with hot juicy toppings. The steak was cooked well although it lacked some seasoning. However Iwas disappointed with the chicken sandwich. When you see ?buttermilk fried chicken sandwich? you think a thick piece of chicken.But the chicken seemed frozen, and cafeteria quality. I would loved to have seen hand cut fries with a nice slab of chicken. Thebread it too overpowering, but the Chipotle Mayo was good. Overall I would recommend. Read more
The food was delicious! We started with calamari as an appetizer and it was perfectly prepared. We ordered Brody?s butter... burger, steak and shrimp scampi for our entree?s. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant isbeautifully decorated in a nautical theme with views of the bay. We loved the outdoor seating area for cocktails. The experience at Brody's was nothing short of magical. The drinks were perfect, the food was magnificent, good enough we spoke... to and tipped the waiter. The salad was the best my friend has had, and the clams & greens was the best meal they have had. Ihad the Prime Rib sandwich with chips, and it was one of the best sandwich's that I have had. The food quality and portions wereamazing for the price, which was quite reasonable. Read more
