Jade Fountain is the best Chinese in the Wayzata/Plymouth area. Always fresh. Most orders for takeout are ready within 20... minutes, even on busy evenings (which most evenings are). My wife loves their tangerine beef and Mongolian beef. My parents LOVEtheir honey walnut shrimp. I?m a fan of most everything, including their Nanking Chow Mein and Lemon Chicken. James the owner is a great guy, he?s every helpful. I always get the honey walnut shrimp, it?s delicious and served with jumbo... shrimp and candied walnuts. Their house fried rice is good, cheese wontons are good ,Kung pao tofu is good, lo mein is verygood. You won?t be disappointed. It has always been the best and closest to me. It can be done really well for the price, or it can be done pretty bad for the... price. They just need to be more consistent with flavors. I've had times that I have been there and it is not spicy enough,everything is bland. Hopefully they are coming up with a pandemic plan for saving the flavor. They are always accurate and veryquick. This place is a great gem right in down town Wayzata. Definitely worth your time for sit down or take out.
Pretty good. Be aware that spicy here is SPICY. The sizzling dishes are pretty good. The dumplings are wonderful!!

Went in to order take-out. The employees were really nice and it was really easy to place an order. I got sesame tofu, egg drop... soup, and shrimp fried rice. Wait was not long. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend! Read more
