Reviews for Benedict's in Wayzata, MN
Good food, some vegetarian options are available. My salmon benedict was delicious, the breakfast potatoes were a bit... undercooked. The atmosphere is lovely. There are indoor and outdoor seating. Service was friendly. Overall a pleasantexperience. Read more
Everyone has done a great job talking about the pros of this restaurant, which are abundant. There's not much more I could add.... I got the Cuban Benedict and it blew my mind. The con and the reason I took one star away. I ordered regular drip coffee. Idrink about half of my cup when the waitress came over and topped it off. That was all I drank; 1.5 cups of drip coffee. When mybill came I was charged for two cups of drip coffee. I thought about asking for the menu to see if they had clarified that theycharge you per refill. Anyhow, I've never been to a restaurant where they charge per cup of drip coffee and I'm not sure how Ifeel about it. I almost want to say I'll never go back because that's so ridiculous, however, the food was really good. Read more
Great eatery for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Server was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the menu and what not to order... (based on supply and quality). We were certainly treated right. Monkey bread was extremely flavorful. Chef were highly skilledand created a great menu. Eggs were done right, sauces not over the top with seasoning, and the meat had great flavor. Great atmosphere and employees! The mimosas are very popular for brunch. The bloody Mary was good. Avocado toast was wonderful,... pancakes were good, and the huevos rancheros was incredible! The eggs were moved from the avocado toast over to the huevosrancheros in the pictures. Read more
Our server was fantastic drinks came out fast she constantly checked on us. Food was delicious specially the fresh toast 10/10.... We also tried the sweet potato hash browns they were okay little on greasy side I would stick to the original next time. Read more
Two family members and I walked over to Benedict's yesterday. Great items to note: customer service was lovely. Decor was... contemporary, perhaps a bit heavy on the pink. The coffee was very good (and I am somewhat picky). My huevos rancheros weregood-- the watermelon radishes on them for decor could have been fresher, crisper. So instead of enjoying the garnish, I pushedit to the side. My sister's breakfast sandwich was a winner and the bacon jam was a hit. My only minor point of contention wasthe 30+ minute wait time to get our food. Overall, I would go back with family-- when I am happy to wait with a cup of coffeeand chat. Read more
