I hate giving bad reviews but tonight was awful. No one greeted us for almost 10 min. Finally got seated and ordered drinks.... They were good. We both ordered the arroz loco but I requested no shrimp. 30 min later his comes out cold. I was informed thatmine was made with shrimp so it was being remade. Send his back. Mine finally shows up, also cold. His new plate comes. Again.COLD!! We had enough. Tipped our server for his patience but paid nothing. Even had to go to the front to try and pay for thedrinks. Our server could not even get the bill, not for lack of trying. It was obvious they were short-handed but this wasunacceptable. Ended up at Subway. Read more

I always judge a Mexican restaurant first on its guac and this is some of the best around, fresh, bright, chunky. We split El... Jefe and it was more than enough for two. The steak needed a little more seasoning but the rest was outstanding. We went earlyon Saturday, about 6:30, and when we left there was a line out the door. Read more

El Toro on Liberty is a decent Mexican restaurant with all of the staples and a full range of margaritas. I had the 27 oz... upgraded margarita. Luckily I was walking because I would not recommend driving after having one of those. The chips and dipwere excellent... fresh and flavorful. I had the street tacos with a mixture of meats. I must say this was the hottestMexican dish i have ever had. My eyes were watering from the heat. The flavors were good but I was sweating at the end. Prices were reasonable... tacos were $13 and the drink was $11. There is indoor and outdoor dining available. Service wasquick and friendly. Read more
