We really liked this place. There s broad selection of dishes that you would find in any high quality NY/NJ/Philly family diner.... The decor and ambiance were nice and the service was very good. Always a great time. I grew up in NYC and this to me a like a classic NY diner. There is a huge selection of food and breakfast... all day for those who like that sort of thing. The Thanksgiving wrap is fantastic. Fast, friendly service every time. Read more
I wish more diners like this place still existed. The food is always consistent and satisfying, same for the service for the... most part. You can usually get sat at a table right away. The place always seems to be on the cleaner side. Definitely a placeto check out if you are looking for a large menu with all three meals of the day plus more served the entire time they are open. Minella's Dinero is amazing. It draws a very diverse crowd; from older generations; Greek heritage; Italian heritage; college... students; and general family groups. They serve Large portions of food! Homemade food! Enough for some of us smaller portionesters to take home & have 2 more meals worth. You definitely get your money's worth here! This is the open hot turkey sandwichwith gravy (they bread underneath is worth it alone!), served with 2 sides - naturally mashed potatoes and gravy & tonight triedgreen beans. (Usually have carrots or broccoli, some veggies like corn & green beans seem to be can veggies so, that's notalways great.) My son had the chicken parm sandwich w/fries & said it was one of the best he's had! We've had many differentmenu items from here & have never been disappointed. Cruising down Route 30 and finding Minella's ... what a gem. Great tasting burger (Deluxe) and the omelet were... awesome. Sometimes a restaurant will mess up a great burger with a substandard roll. Not here! The roll held that damn burgerwith all the bacon, sunnyside up egg, and hash browns together until the last delicious bite. And the desserts--- chocolatemousse mouse, yeah baby!! I came here with my mom and sister for breakfast. My mom got an omelette that she enjoyed and my sister got scrambled eggs and... bacon with another 2 sides of bacon (she loves bacon) that she also enjoyed. I ordered an avocado omelette. The potatoes it camewith were delicious. My omelette was delicious...outside of the avocado. The avocado chunks were hard so I couldn't eat any ofit and had to pick them out of my omelette. Our waitress didn't check on us until we were mostly finished eating but when shecame I asked if I could get a side of avocado since the avocado in my omelette wasn't edible. She told me it would be from thesame batch so it would probably be the same. I'm not an avocado conissseur or anything but I can at least tell when an avocadois ripe unlike the cook that made my omelette. I would've ordered something else if I had just been told they had no ripeavocados. Read more
