Ordered 10 overs and got 8 only.. very rude service
This review is for the Willowbrook mall location in Wayne, NJ So I order a 3 piece combo ( I chose 3 spicy tenders) which comes... with a regular side ( I chose Mac & cheese), biscuit and soft drink. This combo says $9.99. It should be $10.65 with tax thisbeing New Jersey. The girl charges me $11.82. I ask why so much and she says the mac & cheese cost more. I said to her, itshould state that on the menu somewhere and she just looks at me. So without getting frustrated, I go with the Cajun fries. Iasked the manager who handed me my order for a extra bayou buffalo she said Ok but your only supposed to get one. Whatever..When I did reach the tenders under the fries, they looked like they were just dredged thru flour and deep fried, no breading,very smooth looking. Unlike any tender I have had at other Popeyes in the past. While waiting for my order I noticed the nextcustomer behind me was also having issues ordering. First time. I may have been over hyped from all the ads. I used to love Roy Rogers back in the day. Not sure what I was... expecting, but I wasn't blown away and want to go back. The Cajun fries were good! The popcorn shrimp was good. The chickensandwich was too one dimensional. And the regular fried chicken was ok. I think mostly, I just knew none of it was healthy andwas just curious. Read more
This Popeyes location is bad, really bad. Sold out of all sides but fries. Combo bucket was all tiny drumsticks, two wings, and... a thigh. The chicken was dry, maybe overcooked, maybe sat for to long. We received none of the sauces that we asked for. Just amess. Never going to this location again. Read more
I used to come here all the time and had zero complaints but this time was different. 1. Every time I used to get a combo I had... the option of getting a bottle of water or sweet tea with it but this time they said soda or fruit punch only. Ridiculous, alsoI usually ask for 3 bbq sauces because it?s the perfect amount with my meal and biscuit, and they limited me to 2. Guaranteed ifthere?s a response to this they?ll claim ?it was due to Covid? give me a break. I?ll be taking my business to the non stingPopeyes from now on. Read more
I must say the chicken is always amazing but the problem was with the service. I was charged full price for just gravy without... the mash potatoes, my order was skipped 3 times till I mentioned it to one of the servers and he took my receipt bcs heobviously lost his, he almost forgot to add my biscuit I reminded him.... when I finally received my order after waiting 30minutes or so I left. On my way out from the mall I wanted to munch on my nuggets first time trying them and guess what?! Yesthe guy forgot to add put them in the bag so I had to go back....the frustration....????????????. Again the food is always greatbut it seems like they have a new staff and the customer service is not good, needs to be taken care of before customers decideto look the other way. Yummy new chicken sandwich is back and they made it taste better! The old sandwich was a bit too salty. This one is a perfect... balance of flavors in the meat, crunchy breading and the toasted bun.
