Went there on Saturday night around 530pm. Was sat promptly. There were 2 middle age couples at the bar that were so loud we had... to leave. On our way out we met another couple who had dinner and was leaving. They couldn't believe nothing was said to thesepeople. On our way out someone came out and my wife said something to him that we were leaving because of it. They also werecursing and there also was a family seated with children. Was looking for a "lakeside" restaurant near me and found this place. Stopped in for lunch and sat at the far end of the bar.... Nice view of the lake and beach outside. There was an older couple in the middle of the bar having lunch and several very loudguys at the other end of the bar. They didn't really bother me but I wondered if they bothered the couple in the middle. Maybethey were all locals and it didn't matter. The dining room was behind me and it was empty. Maybe it's more of a dinner anddrinks kind of place. Anyway, I ordered the French Onion Soup and a burger and fries and it was all very good. The soup was hot,hot, hot so make sure you have a cold drink if you order the soup! Yeah, I'm the weirdo that orders hot soup on a 90° day! Thebartender was friendly and the service was very good. Prices were very reasonable, too. Glad I stopped in and would definitelygo back. I don't think there was access to the beach/lake but I took a pic from the bar and also by holding my camera over thefence outside. Nice area. Read more

The food here is delicious and there is a good variety of choices. Our waiter was very good and pleasant. Hopefully next time we... visit the carpeting will have been replaced. It has seen better days and there are numerous trip hazards. Read more
