Reviews for Rodeo Mexican Restaurant in Waycross, GA
I know it?s a local favorite but two of four enchiladas on the same plate shouldn?t be cold and cheese not even close to melted.... They were out of empanadas on a Friday night, so disappointing. Price was reasonable (3 adults and 2 children less than $50). Read more
Amazing food. Exceptional service. Clean and fairly quiet for how busy it gets. Free chips and salsa. Salsa has a great flavor... with a light kick to it. Texture was a bit thick almost sauce like. Chips are made in house- hot and delicious. The al pastortacos were *chefs kiss* perfection. Marinaded well and juicy. If they'd let me buy by the pound I would. The taco salad withground beef was probably the best taco salad I've ever had. The meat was quality beef seasoned just right. The shell was crispyand crunchy. 11/10 would recommend ???? Read more
While the food was ok, it was not exceptional. Prices were reasonable and they were not too busy. Service was good but again not... exceptional. OK place to stop if traveling through, but I think there are other places that would serve that purpose just aswell. Perhaps we are just not used to Mexican food on this side of the country after living in the NW for a number of years andfinding the seasonings and choices a little different. Read more
Great service. They sat us right away on a busy Saturday night. The waiter was friendly and efficient and I was surprised by how... quick everything was on my table, from the drinks to the chips to the entrees. The food was good, but could've been better.Lettuce was a tad bit wilted, and the shredded chicken in the enchilada was a bit bland. All in all a very positive experience.I'll definitely be back. Has very much improved. Clean and organized. Friendly staff. Service very quick. We ordered the trio dip appetizer with bean... dip, queso, and guacamole. Very good. The steak chimichanga was delicious. Steak was tender and seasoned well. Read more
Great food! Great staff! Never had a bad experience! Update 1/29/2022 Only complaint is took a little longer than it should... have to get drinks & food. Food came out cold, it was reheated I believe, rather than new plates. Read more
A basic Mexican restaurant. Booth seats were pretty beat up and I sank way down when I sat. We ordered Chicken Tortilla Soup... and Enchiladas Verdes. Food was average. Tasty, but like most others. Horchata came in a large glass, but was pretty watereddown, without much flavor. The complimentary salsa was the only standout. Spicy, with a really good flavor. Read more
The presentation of the food was good. The food was mediocre for Mexican food. I had a combo plate with a cheese Chile relleno... and cheese enchilada. The Chili Relleno came out stuff with taco meat (I think) and my enchilada cheese was not melted and cold. The salsa had good flavor, the chips are slightly hard, and the cheese sauce was watered down.
