Had breakfast on a Friday morning just a week ago. For 10 am it was pretty busy still, but the waitress (which was also greeting... & seating new customers as they would come in) she was wonderful! It took us probably 15 min before deciding what to order butshe didn?t take advantage of our indecisiveness, rather she consistently circled back by until we were finally ready to order &continued this routine throughout our meal. The food was great & the service was even better ! It?s wonderful to have a nicesetting for breakfast that?s as close to home cooked as Cracker Barrel is! First I will say our server was great. But, our orders were not right Finally, we ask to speak to the manager, we explained it... was not our servers fault as we. could tell she was new. The manager took over serving the rest of our order She was wonderfuland I explained I had never had hard pinto beams or cold corn bread that wouldn't melt butter. Food was fine. The service was beyond slow. From sit down to receiving our meals was beyond an hour and twenty five minutes. The... people that sat behind us got there food fifteen minutes before us. The server was very nice just the whole restaurant was slow. Appears to be the lack of employees. Dirty tables and floors everywhere. The tables were cleaned when they needed to sitsomeone new. This was a hidden gem that we found on our way to Wild Adventures. The Crackle Barrel is where it is at yall! It exceeded my... expectations, especially The Retail Department, it was full lots fun toys, gifts, beautiful original Christmas ornaments,clothing that I really want, coca cola merchandise, cool stuff that the whole family can get something out of. The staff wasvery helpful and courteous and showed a lot of professionalism, especially the retail manager young lady Mae. The wait staff wasgoing as fast as they could even with many people coming in and departing. The food was excellent and very very tasty and fresh.The sweet tea was really delicious. Stopped for late lunch in cracker barrel waycross, ga. We were on the way back from family reunions AL. we have been eating... family cooking the weekend, it was no different at cracker barrel , family cooking, staff was great, inside was clean, parkinglot was also, Always find something new in retail shop, sent family member a picture and ask her to fill it. Love cracker barrel. My mom and I split the Uncle Herschels breakfast. Plenty of food. The Hashbrown casserole and Biscuits and... gravy our my favorite. Good country cooking. Friendly staff and prompt service as well. Also bought a couple pieces of clothingfrom the store. Read more
