Everything was pretty much what you would expect from a fast food place. Well, maybe that isn't the best way to put it. The... restaurant was clean, and for a fried seafood place there was no smell from the fryers which is always appreciated!!! Employees spend too much time goofing off. Made our order up in to go boxes and we were dining in and ordered fish and got... chicken. they were not busy. What happened to getting batter crumbles? My favorite thing! Disappointed! Read more
First of all, I usually loveee the food from the captain D's...the fish usually is cooked to perfection so I'm not sure exactly... what happened last night. But I literally ordered a 4 piece fish meal and only ate 1 1/2 fillets because the fish was soundercooked and mushy. You could literally taste the batter was not fried completely ????????????I literally almost threw up atthe thought of my fish not being cooked. Unfortunately this location in Waycross has lost me as a customer when it comes totheir fish. I may purchase sides from there. Read more
I Love Captain D?s with a passion. My favorite is the Pollock fish. I?m a fan of their hush puppies and okra also. I tried the... Gumbo and it tastes great but I think it?s overly priced for the portion they serve especially when there?s not much meat insideit. I won?t order the Gumbo again. Read more
