Walked into Waxhaw Creamery tonight with my family. There were no other customers in line and there were three employees... standing behind the counter. No, ?welcome?. No, ?good evening.? Crickets. As we stood there trying to decide what flavor toorder, all three employee just stared at us. No, ?can I help you.? No, ?would you like a sample.? Crickets. We just receivedblank stares from them. We were not going to support a business that has horrible customer service, so as we started to walkout, one of the employees, said: ?have a good night? in a sarcastic tone. All three should be fired. Read more

This is the best ice cream in the Charlotte area, hands down. If it's not close by to you, it's worth the drive. And downtown... Waxhaw is a cool and unique spot. Read more

If you haven't tried this place yet you need to stop reading and get there it's AMAZING! ......For those of you still reading... this place has simple classic ice cream flavors that you would believe someone could make any better after all the years icecream has been around; well this place has done it. Evey flavor you try will be the best you have ever had it! Read more

I?m a regular here and love the ice cream and all the dairy free options they have. My friends and I came in tonight and she... ordered her ice cream and made sure to tell them she had a dairy allergy. They Lady that owns it gave her the whole run down ofchanging scoops and gloves and made us feel very comfortable, especially since we were here the night before with no problems. We got her ice cream and she started to have an allergic reaction after one or two bites. Thankfully paramedics were on thecorner and helped us give her her epiPen and she is okay. I went back in to figure out what flavor they had actually given heror let them know it was a possible cross-contamination and the Man that owns the place informed me that the whole cone and twoscoops in it were dairy. I explained to him that this was unacceptable especially since her ticket was marked with dairy allergyand even told us they would switch scoops, gloved, etc. He did not have much to say and brushed it off like it was nothing.Mainly ignored what i was saying and continued to ask one of the workers if he had changed his gloves. Sorry but the gloves werethe least of my worries considering you gave her a dairy cone and dairy ice cream. After having worked at an ice cream shopmyself and seeing how easy it is to follow the precautions to make a safe cone allergy free, I am extremely frustrated andupset with how carefree they handled it and did not ask if she was okay or anything after the fact. Will not be trusting thiscreamery with allergy concerns in the future. Read more

Hands down the best ice-cream place we have been to before. We now use this location as a "is it as good as Waxhaw Creamery?"... when it comes to other ice-cream place. We came here about 6ish years ago, and they have not regressed in anyway, and haveactually gotten better. Their staff is always really nice, and they have a ton of flavors. Anyone who is in this area for avisit or what not, be sure to stop by this place for desert. Read more

We go here mostly in the summer but they are open year round. The selection is good and generally they are busy with customers... coming and going, but there is a decent size area for eating inside which fills up quickly. We stick with what we like withflavors but they have most of the popular ones. My favorite is chocolate chip or cookies in cream, but all are tasty! Staff isfriendly and I think they make everything in house. I look forward to my next visit. Read more

Hands down the best Ice Cream parlor in Waxhaw (and surrounding areas). My personal favorite is the Dark Chocolate ice cream. ... Parking isn't the greatest and it seems to always be busy, but the line moves quickly enough and it's always worth an outing. Read more
