Purchased two $6 Big Boxes and only had 1 side each order, inside was closed, and young person inside tells me she not gonna... charge extra for giving me leg & thigh when Popeyes was out of spicy chicken for wings & breasts! The employees decided to close earlier than their posted time just for funsies. Let us sit at the drive through for 10 minutes... with a growing line of 6 cars behind us before someone taking the trash out told us to leave. There's no way they didn't see theline waiting, they could've let us know sooner, or, you know, stayed until 11 like their website says (instead of 9:30). We placed an online order and when I got here to pick it up, all the doors were locked, and the gentleman working said I need to... go to drive through. Since the entire restaurant business was being run through drive through, the wait was really long. I getto the order speaker and ask if I could add cajun rice to the order (it doesn't show on the website that it is offered) or is ittoo late and the man says Yeah, it's too late. Why was it too late, I don't quite understand, it's a small sidedish that I couldhave come to order anyway, without being there for the pickup. Then I get to the pick up window and they say I have to pullforward so I still had to wait another 5, 10 minutes. The whole simple online pick up took almost 45 minutes. We usually lovePopeyes' chicken but this time it was borderline raw, you could tell it was made in a rush. I strongly advise someone from corporate to visit this location and by the looks of other reviews, I?m not the only person who... thinks so. First and foremost, from a professional standpoint- I was not aware that a fast food place was able to create theirown hours of operation, yet somehow this location has been getting away with it for these past two years. They sometimes eitherclose 30 mins to an hour before 10pm, or sometimes there?s just a piece of paper stuck to their voice-box stating ?no one ishere, go home.? On a personal standpoint- Popeye?s used to be my favorite place (because other locations have good food anddecent service most of the time). However, the Waxahachie location has put their name to shame and I can no longer give them myservice. The employees (though this is not every single one, as I have come in contact with some polite people) 9 times out of10 do NOT seem to care about their jobs at all, and it shows through the lack of quality in the food and customer service. Icompletely understand how difficult it is to find ?good? employees who want to work during the times we?re in- but I refuse toaccept that as an excuse for this location, especially considering the fact that there are other fast food places and differentPopeye?s locations that have exemplified good service. This Popeyes was fresh and really good. The customer service was wonderful, the line moves really fast. For some reason they... always forget to give me the apple pie I order but I?m never upset.
