One of the best dining experiences in a long time. Service was friendly, efficient, and most of all welcoming. On top of that,... the food was outstanding. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. The food was good and portions were big. My husband got the 2 plate with pepper sausage... and brisket. He got it with corn and mac n cheese, and they don't skimp on the butter like some places. I got the Ellie whichis a huge baked potato with butter, sour cream, chives and chopped brisket (choice). I will say they love their pepper here, thebark on that brisket was very peppery. I also loved the pickled onions that came with my husband's meal. He hates onions, butthose were so good. I got the bread pudding to eat at home and it was so good, even heated up again. We will be back. Read more
We came in near the end of the day, so it wasn't very busy. Still you could immediately tell this was a well run operation. Even... though there weren't a ton of customers, all of the staff kept themselves busy doing work or cleaning the place. Our server wasvery prompt and extremely friendly. I got the tacos (brisket, pulled pork, and spicy sausage). I don't know if I will ever geta different meal from this place; I was full after the second taco but I couldn't stop myself from continuing to eat. The meatwas tender and flavorful, and all the extras/sides were extremely fresh. My wife got the brisket with baked beans and mac &cheese as sides and was equally happy with her meal. I was too full so I didn't get dessert, but I have heard they are amazing;based on everything else, I completely believe it. Between the food and the people, this is 100% a must visit stop! Read more
Delicious, delicious, delicious?. Been trying some different BBQ places in the area and they knocked it out of the park. Ribs,... potato salad, coleslaw we?re MIND BLOWING GOOD. I got the ?Ribs Plate?? knocked it out of the park. Wife and son shared ?PitMasters Plate?? every bite of all the different meats left smiles on their faces. This is definitely one of the better barbecue place in all of Texas! The place is clean, the people are nice, and the food is... delicious. I haven't had the patience to snap this picture before I went through the mac and cheese, it's really good. I plan onvisiting this establishment every paycheck, they are really good. Read more
Great experience getting lunch to-go today. Friendly service, she even brought it out to us as we waited! I got the PB&J... sandwich which was a great blend of pulled pork, brisket, and the jalapeño sausage. The pork and the brisket were tender andflavorful. The sausage packed a nice kick that added to the incredible pickled jalapeños. My wife enjoyed the ribs, especiallywith the red sauce. My son got the sweet Caroline with pulled pork. The sweet potato wasn't as sweet as we are used to, but thecinnamon spread helped out. And the bread pudding was an amazing way to end a great meal! Read more
Had dinner here and ordered the BBQ Brisket Sandwich with a side of Green Beans, Rib Plate, and kid's Grilled Cheese sandwich.... The brisket had a lot of flavor without the BBQ sauce. The ribs were really good too. I also enjoyed the potato salad; it wasnice and hearty. Our waitress was very friendly. The BBQ sauce on the ribs tasted much better than the other sauces theyprovided on the table (one was vinegary and the other was ketchup-based). Read more
Just came for some weekend bbq. Very clean establishment. Our server was Ashley. It is such a joy to find a place close to home... that has real Texas bbq. I had the half baked chicken with beans and coleslaw. The beans are excellent and so sweet! My husbandhad the brisket with sausage. We both agree that this is better than driving to Luby?s and dealing with all the traffic. Ashleywas very polite and sweet. Please keep up the good work! Read more
