On 09/21/2022 Take out: Shrimp Scampi. 7 shrimps, 3 small pieces of broccoli, 1/4 of a lemon, lumpy sticky white rice =... $20.00. Taste: nothing special. Mere ordinary mall fast food. Portion size: minimalist. Take out : 4 Vegetable Eggrolls. Smaller, by half, than the Kroger frozen ones and no better = $8.00. Take out: Lo Mein. Tasted so bad, after first twobites my spouse threw it away = $16.00. Total: $44.00 for a bad dinner and spoiled evening. Read more
Great food! Awesome service. Highly recommend the seafood lo mein, plenty of shrimp and scallops plus perfect noodles.
Food was done fast and staff was nice! Ambiance was chill. However the General Tsos was severely lacking. Chicken was hardly... battered, over cooked, and severely under sauced. From what I tasted the sauce tasted okay. Portion was also small for what Ipaid. Read more
The food was amazing and the portions were very generous. All while having no wait for seating when every other place was at... least 30 minutes. I have NO idea why this place wasn't busier! Will 100% be back - every year from now on! Read more
We should have visited sooner. The Boardwok South is a step above most restaurants in the area, if only for the simple reason... that they use plates, rather than baskets. Although the food took longer than usual to arrive at the table, it was worth thewait. Read more
I've been going here since I was a little kid (20 years) and the food has always been the BEST. Brought my fiance for the first... time and he loved it; said that it reminded him of a mom and pop spot he ate at while stationed in Japan! The Brown's run anawesome restaurant; don't drive through Salvo/Waves without planning a meal here! Read more
Lets just start off by saying I had excellent customer service here. The lady who took my order over the phone was pleasant and... the man who came out to my car was very friendly and nice! 5 stars for customer service from me. However, the food was a littledisappointing. We ordered the Sesame and General Chicken with Chicken Wings (which i thought were bland and not great) (all for$35 - we did option on their updated menu)(*also started eating before i took pictures). I guess we are use to getting more foodfor the money we pay when it comes to Asian food and that was not the case here (I understand that Co-vid may have something todo with prices, i take that into consideration). It was an insanely small portion - almost like a frozen meal you can get fromthe grocery store and it was lacking vegetables. I always enjoy the broccoli, snappeas, etc that tends to come with my Asianfood plus it gives it some color. Would I eat here again? Yes, there is more I'd like to try and the food we got was okay, maybetrying something else would provide a better food wise experience. I recommend you try it out if you're okay with smallportions.
