A great place for some authentic French dining experience! We went for lunch and desserts. Pastries get 5 starts, and the food... gets 4. I only got to taste the macaroons and the French baguette, but I'm going off a friend's review that all thepastry/dessert items are top notch. She lived in France for years and took home some $50 of desserts after lunch. That says itall. So I trust her and give them 5 stars on the desserts. The baguette was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside withwarm puffs of air with every bite. The macaroons were amazing, but to be honest, they were not better than the ones fromShorewood's North Shore Boulangerie... On to the food. Oh, and I didn't quite realize from looking up the pictures on yelpbefore we arrived, but they have a bigger dining area upstairs, so what you see when you enter is not all. Plenty of room for anice dinner. Confit de canard crepe The crepe was delicious, but personally, I wasn't wowed by the duck confit. It might bejust me - I've not had it much to begin with, so I may just not like duck confit in general. I like duck - but more the Pekingstyle. Filet de Boeuf with fries Both the fries and the sandwich was great. If you're into large portions, don't think you'llget it here. But again, the bread was flawless, but the beef itself was a bit lacking in taste. Crostini de Brie Basicallybaguettes topped with brie and toasted. Ooh, they had some good brie and I've already raved about their baguette. Moulesmarniere Mussels in sauce - true French style and quite amazing. Overall, the breads and the appetizers were top notch, but theentrees themselves were somewhat lacking personally. I would like to try their dinner menu before giving up on the diningexperience though. Read more

42nd birthday dinner didn't disappoint! We started with lovely cheese and charcuterie plate - it was wonderful! I'm a... traditionalist so went with coq au vin - it was so tender and tasty. Only thing I'd change is pairing it with potatoes insteadof noodles. For dessert we selected a couple of the macarons and another lovely dessert made in house - it was all wonderful. Wealso enjoyed a nice bottle of French wine. Service was awesome, ambiance is always great. Love feeling like we're in France inthe middle of Milwaukee. Read more

The pastries/dessert are fresh on a whole higher level of freshness! We sat at the bar and I am happy we did that. You can have... breakfast at the bar, or just pastry and coffee, and see all the behind-the-scenes action too, so that was really fun! Coffee isimpeccable. Im sure if I had an espresso it would be even better! The folks at the bar are real gentlemen and very mannered. Read more

Treat yo self here please! The food and experience are definitely worth paying a bit more for. Pro tip for dinner, the dessert... case does start to empty as you get into the evening so consider requesting a dessert early so you don't miss out. Highlyrecommend the pheasant, that creamy cheesey sauce is unreal. The French onion soup was such a warm, rich, savory hug of a dishthat just makes you smile. The savory crepes were lovely and the desserts are always worth it. Making reservations are easy andhighly recommended, there's a nice dining space in the loft and on the main level. The entry has a slight ramp and no stepswhich is accessible friendly if you can handle a few tight turns. Read more

We sat outside under an umbrella and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. The service was great. Sitting outside was peaceful and... breathtaking. It was reminiscent of sitting at an outdoor restaurant in Paris. The menu is not extensive by any means but theselections are all mouthwatering. My burger was succulent and I topped it off with a glass of Rose. Also YOU MUST try thedesserts. Chocolate Raspberry domes, fruit tarts and macaroons are just a few of the tasty delights they serve. The food... and drinks were absolutely delicious and what great presentation they had! Those desserts...after the difficult decision ofwhich one to pick because they all looked so delicious, I enjoyed a caramel chocolate dessert! Read more

Went for brunch. The croissant as a base for eggs benedict was very rich, but not at all complaining. Loved the earthiness of... the champignon crepe. FYI definitely get the double if you get a latte. I got a single and finished it quite quickly. Read more

Definitely has the European atmosphere! Fantastic food, got the Gnocchi Parisienne with Duck on top. I don't usually like... mushrooms but the sauce was so good I had to eat everything. Drinks are very good as well and please don't leave without aPastry! The Raspberry Dacquoise was one of my favorites I've ever had. Read more
