Great diner atmosphere with full Greek Short Order type menu. I love their chicken dumpling soup with a sandwich and hot meals... are hot and served by friendly people. Breakfast all day. We had an absolutely spectacular dinner last night! We ordered some wings and I have to say they are the best I have ever had!!!... I've been going to Gyros West since they initially opened many years ago, and the quality has not changed. Although it's been... years since I've been there, my aunt and I were recently there again, and loved it. We both ordered the Gyro plate with friesand the food was amazing. The fries were hot out of the fryer, and there was so much gyro meat on the warm soft pita that we hadto take some off and enjoy it separately. We had barely turned our menus over to our server, when our order was alreadyarriving. The server was also super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend. Read more
Leo is an amazing and awesome host / owner! His pops is a very nice man too! But let's talk about the food now. It is made to... order and served very quickly. The portions are large and most likely you will be taking home a doggy bag ????! The taste isalways top notch and very comforting. True Waukesha staple that does not disappoint. We were immediately greeted by a kindly old Greek man who welcomed us very warmly by saying "welcome to gyros west! How are you... doing?" It was our first time here and after a long day of travel this made our day even before we got our food. It appeared tobe a family effort to run this organized, clean and beautifully simple restaurant. We were immediately given our drinks by ajohnny on the spot host,and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The crowd seemed to be a lot of regulars that the staffknew on a first name basis which is always a good sign. Our food came out very fast and we could tell it was very fresh and itwas very delicious. Both the Greek food and the America food were very delicious. Phenomenal service and food this morning at Gyros West. It was a Sunday morning, so understandably busy. Within a minute of us... sitting down, the owner came over and apologized we didn?t have drinks yet and immediately brought us some (of course, this wasno issue at all, we had just sat down!) Our order was taken very shortly after that by our waitress and the food was brought outin no time by another, tasting as delicious as it looked. It?s very clear they work as a team here and their top priority ismaking sure customers have a great dining experience. It?s very appreciated, and although I hadn?t been in a while, I can?t waitto come back. Thanks for the great service, friendly faces, and delicious food. Read more
