Would give 0 stars if I could. Placed a $200 order Tuesday for my work for Saturday. They said I can call back Thursday or... Friday to make a payment. Tried calling mutiple times throughout the day Thursday to make a payment but Saturday. No answer andcalls are being forward to voicemail. It is not almost noon on Friday and we have tried calling 3 times to make a payment andstill the same. No answer. Calls being forwarded to voicemail. When I called to place the order on Tuesday, they answered rightaway. Lady seemed nice. If they didn't want our business, they should have spoke up and said something. I can call from my workphone and it will ring but my cell number seems to be blocked. Bad for business if you ask me because we were going to orderfrom here probably 1 Saturday every month. Heard great things about their food and it's a shame I will never try it now becauseof the customer service. UPDATE: They called me at 11 am on Saturday, 1 hour before I WAS suppose to pick up my order, andasked if we would still like to order... I don't understand what communication barriers are in place that cause an order to be incorrect everytime but they always seem... to mess up. We ordered a chicken dinner and a catfish dinner with sauce on the side and they proceeded to smother the chicken insauce and did not include the fries or slaw. The employees will not greet you and seem rude. They also have a no refund sign soyou are stuck with whatever mess they decide to give you. Read more
I ordered a $44.00 pan of Tips with sauce on the side in advance for a family gathering for 9/3/22 Saturday morning pick-up at... 11:20 am. The tips were aweful. They looked like they were taken from the freezer and heated in the microwave. Light brown incolor, no grill marks and very little flavor. My family and I were very disappointed. I visited my hometown and had to take my daughters and grandchildren to one of the spots I grew up eating at. After bragging... about Hillery's didn't disappoint it was still BUSSIN ???????????? I got the beef brisket, and small rib tips wih fries (got oneof my grandchildren hushpuppies) yess with the soft bread and slaw. Had to dip the bread and fries in the bbq sauce like back inthe day Oooh and those caramel and roasted peanut grapes ???????????? Read more
Best Ribs In Town!!! Phone orders are hard to make so just best to walk in and order. They are fast and you get to enjoy the BBQ... smells while you wait. The Ribs, Catfish, Shrimp, Hot Links and chicken are amazing. The staff is friendly and always workinghard to bring you the best food around. They sometimes have desserts like German cake. Parking is limited. They have a drivethrough but I never use it. Read more
???? We had some friends come up from Dallas. they had a hankering for some barbecue. we ordered some rib tips, pork shoulder,... and slabs. They said it was some of the best barbecue they ever tasted. I would have to agree! An addendum to my review, we hadfamily come up from Knoxville Tennessee and the first thing they asked for was some Hillery's. I posted pictures of the feast Ibrought home. And lastly, as far as sanitary conditions, this place is clean. I've been eating hillerys for the past 35 years.I've never had a bad meal and I've never gotten sick. Don't waste your money!!!!! I took a chance after seeing the bad reviews because I grew up on Hillery's and it was always fire.... I ordered the medium rib tips and had to throw them away. It had a foul smell to it like the meat wasn't washed properly, thenit had more fat then meat and the taste was horrible. I was so disappointed didn't think it could be true but ppl stay awaydefinitely won't be eating from here again. Read more
