took a little long to order. chocolate milk with ice was odd. ordered kids chicken n fries, kids burger n fries and burger and... poutine. the burgers smelt and tasted burnt but didn't look burnt. my son took one bite and spit it out. no one came to askus how our meal was or if we needed anything but watched them go to a table of 8 next to us twice. went to pay told them aboutthe burgers and they said maybe it's because it is so smokey in the kitchen. I let them know they should taste it themselves. they repeated its smokey back there even with the ventilation. ?????????????? won't see us going back ever. Read more

Excellent food (by both quality and variety), highly professional staff, very reasonable prices, served quickly after ordered... without any compromise to quality for sake of that speed. Every guest is being treated by the staff like their most awaited andwelcomed one. My wife and son brought me to John's Plate restaurant today for this year's Father's Day. That was my first timeto visit that restaurant. Since today John's Plate becomes my most favourite restaurant in entire Manitou Beach SK / Watrous SKarea, and a must-to-attend during our any vacation here at the Dead Sea of Canada. Read more
