I'm back for the first time in 45 years. I brought my wife to see what I had been bragging about. The ice cream was even better... than I remembered. The service was topnotch. What a gem! We frequently travel to small towns around Wisconsin just to try little spots like this. Mullens is by far one of... the best we've been to. The bacon cheeseburger burrito is SO good! The ice cream is top notch. Be prepared to wait and showsome patience to the staff. It was busy during our visit and the employees did an outstanding job keeping up. Absolutely amazing food and sundaes. Atmosphere was great. Hostess seemed to be new and forgot a few things along the way but... was very polite and immediately brought the forgotten items. Burgers were delicious. Fries were golden and perfectly crispy.The cheese curds were OMG the BEST we've ever had. Sundaes were tasty and plentiful. As authentic as an old school diner can be. The vanilla malt was absolutely one of the best I have ever had, and my dining... companions loved their cookies and cream shake. Fried cheese curds were also delicious. Burger was a little overdone but wasstill tasty and the bun was soft and delicious. If you?re in the area, don?t miss the chance to visit this local gem.
