I was forced into this town. My first impressions didn?t match my expectations so I decided I would look deeper...I was so... excited to find a few cute shops, some art and other interesting places. This was my first stop on my tour. My first impressionwas that it was warm?some weird energy. He greeted me warmly and then blam ?no shoes?. ?it?s state law he said. It isn?t Iretorted, but he interrupted me stating I had 5 seconds to leave or he was calling the cops and began counting down. I tried toexplain I just wanted to see the place and he kept threatening me. His energy was fierce and dark...followed me out the door. Becareful!! Going to do some protection work. There were two other customers so it was over the top and intentional... ---TOrespond, I don't have 2 accounts. I don't serve in the armed forces...and you response is typical of my expectations of the NE. Sorta why I left. I know---I know....Judge (or not) individuals on a case-by-case basis. Sorry it took so long torespond...but getting settled.. It's hard to find your way in a new town, especially when you don't really want to be there andlife is sort of crazy. Sorry you had to act the way you did and not confess to your treatment of me and instead laid all yourBS at my feet. You made a quick judgement of me and proceeded to treat me as such. It wasn't that I didn't want to get shoes (as I was saying) --it was that I didn't have them/don't wearthem. The health department doesn't GAF what I have on my feet. Look it up, they don't care. Seth has made this Cafe a most warm and welcoming location. I am always greeted with a smile and a warm greeting. The Lovers... potion is by far my favorite drink on his menu. My family loves the Tarot Cafe! We love the artistic, warm energy. There are many options, including dairy-free. They are... kid-friendly, too, providing coloring pages and milk for the little ones so my husband and I can drink our tea and coffee. Oneof the best cafes in town! Read more
