Discrimination. At 6 pm, bored at home, I wanted to have a few beers in this bar. * ! What a bad experience! Since I sat down ,... they did not want to serve me , people next to me asked for their drinks and were served quickly , but with my beer alreadyfinished , they did not want to serve me again , they did not even ask me , I picked up my empty bottle and they only looked atme in the distance laughing. I wondered: could it be because I'm from another country, of another color, what's going on? I'llnever return to this environment of discrimination. Read more
Food, atmosphere and staff were amazing. Staff was great with my son who has special needs and lowered the music for us.... Definitely kid friendly. Different games on each TV which was a plus. Can't wait to go back. Read more
Expensive for a very standard Irish pub. Paid $13 for draft beers. Pasta and Cajun shrimp weren?t bad. Was $9 for a basket of... fries, they were the good fries though so I?ll give them that. As a first timer in the east coast and in Boston, I thought this neighborhood bar sounded like a good option. I'm normally not... one to jump to conclusions but as a POC this was an unpleasant experience. Apparently unless you're white, you're not apriority. I was ignored from the moment I walked in while other customers were welcomed with a cheerful hello. I was asked tofind another place by one of the regulars when I tried to sit at the bar. It was another 30 mins before I was able to getsomeone to take my order. I should have walked out but I'd had a long day and was unsure about any other options nearby. All Iwanted was a beer and a little space to read my book. It's very unfortunate that in this day and age that people take time outof their life to be so rude and discriminating. If you're a person of color I'd give this place a pass. Not worth giving peoplelike this your time or money. Too bad, I really liked the music and the food was decent. To the owners, colored people's moneyis as good as white people's. Don't be so judgmental. Read more
This place is the bees knees if you want to catch some euro-sports with your mates over a full-Irish breakfast and coffee (or... mimosas) on a Sunday morning. Service, value, taste, sports, all 10/10 Read more
