My friend and I suddenly craved for some tea midday in the weekend and we went to Deluxe Town Diner. The staffs were extremely... nice and sit us outside based on our preference and refilled our tea. The herbal tea and the way it was served was excellent. Agreat location on the heart of Watertown with good access to various restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend checkingit out. Don?t let the outside fool you! It looks like a hole in the wall, kind of dilapidated, especially with all the signs on one... side. However once you walk in you can tell it?s a good, old fashioned diner. Lots of character inside. Very nice staff from thedoor, to the server. Clean tables. The food was delicious! And the portions were very filling. We tried accessing their menuonline prior to arriving but it was hard to do. It?s 9 pages long and it kept messing up on our cells. Read more
It is always a really nice experience. The waitress was really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. I ordered the... deluxe colossal hungry person special, my husband a veggie omelette and a bagel with cream cheese. There was too muchvinaigrette on my salad for my taste, I will ask for plain salad next time. The bagel had a really good consistency, it wasthick, not airy, which I really like. DIANA took care of us with an international level of customer service in a very passionate manner against her... profession and helped us to make the correct choice from this amazingly tasteful kitchen! We saw this place the last time we were in town but couldn't get there until this current trip. We both had the corned beef hash... with eggs, toast, and we split a short stack of buttermilk pancakes. The corned beef was super lean, no fat on it, seasonedperfectly and the pancakes were amazing. Really nice classical diner with the classical diner theme. Plenty of seating options indoors and outdoors; your choice. Soo... many menu items to choose from! Short wait to be seated.
