Beautiful restaurant in the Glacier Hotel. Food was delicious! Marissa's gracious service was the cherry on top.

The restaurant atmosphere was very intimate. The service was excellent. The waiter was extremely attentive, personable, and... enthusiastic. The meal was delicious! We had the special (recommended by the waiter) and it didn?t disappoint. The desert wasalso very good. I would on the whole recommend this restaurant. I think they?re trying hard although there are some easy to fix things that... might improve the experience. The decor and particularly the padded seats were very nice. For a restaurant that is charging topdollar for its pastas I would expect a more prompt and professional service. While our waitress was trying hard she lacked someelementary skills of waitressing. She cleared the plates (finally) by reaching across the table rather than going around. Webought a very nice bottle of wine and would have appreciated her returning at some point to refill our glasses rather thanallowing us to do all of that. By the time we left, the restaurant was quite full and we waited a significant time for each stepin the process. My wife ordered a gluten-free pasta and, given the different ingredients, it came back over-cooked and fallingapart. This is some thing the chef should have been aware of. However, I will say the flavour of her choice was excellent. Iknow all small businesses are trying hard and this one included. I wish them all success. The issues are not hard to fix, alittle more training for the junior waitress. We pointed out the overcooked pasta for which she apologized but we were notoffered any discount or refund until we mentioned it at the time of paying. Nice ambiance, mediocre food and service. We ordered the lasagna and the tortellini, neither impressed. The sauces on both had a... thin, watery consistency, and the flavours were dominated by cheeses that didn't even taste Italian. Folks at other tablesseemed to love their food though, so maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes. Read more

I mean...at least after the seafood aspect of the "seafood fettuccine" there was a hearty wine and penne soup waiting for me to... drink my poorly spent money away... after only mentioning that a wine sauce should at least include "sauce". Poor service aswell. "Leanne" made sure to snicker and dismiss any issue, identified herself as a superior, and hung up at any sign ofdissatisfaction or conflict. 3 phone calls shortly after receiving the food should have been sufficient to resolve any issuespromptly, fair to assume poor management is to blame. Bison lasagna Really enjoyed the lasagna. Really appreciate the knowledgeable staff and honesty. The lasagna sheets are normally... made fresh in house. Today they were not as the chef was off but the lasagna is prepped and made on spot. Despite this it wasdelicious. Sheets were soft with a light bounce and the sauce well balanced with fresh vegetables. Bison was a nice accent tothe dish being a little less oily and with more bite to it. Pear salad Well balanced and flavourful. The sweetness of the pearand figs are nicely contrasted by the smokey fresh bacon bits in the salad.  Balsamic vinaigrette is light and non-imposing.Sits well on the palate. Chicken marsalla Chicken cooked fresh and fully tender all the way through. The Au-jus over the dishwas a pleasant suprise. Light flavourful and ties the dish and mushrooms together well. Be sure to ask serving staff about whatpasta was made fresh that day. Makes all the difference to the dish. Service is top notch. Be sure to make a reservation asthere are few seats and lots of interest. Read more
