I normally LOVE this restaurant! But today was a sad day. I always get the black pepper steak. Look at this photo... Absolutely... no sauce... The sauce makes this dish, normally there is enough sauce to add your rice to. Today, no sauce, steak is dry becausethere is no sauce. Can only give 5 stars for this would give 6 if it was possible. Amazing place and atmosphere. Top class food which was... presented so well and the service was fantastic. No expense was spared for the restaurant and as a customer, we saw this. All Ican say is well done the Tai Dop Voy were just awesome. Read more

Ordered the beef pad Thai and beef with cashews and vegetables. The pad Thai was lacking flavour, noodles and beef texture was... ok. For the veggie dish, the veggies were 90% celery with some onions and a few carrots. The beef tasted like salty water. Read more

Sesame chicken was good and would probably be even better when it hasn't been in a takeout container for the drive home. Other... dishes were well prepared. The "Beef with Ginger" dish is not the same as "Ginger Beef" you might get at other restaurants, sodont order it expecting it to be breaded. The fried rice tasted more burnt than I would like. Extremely disappointing. My wife and I ordered from here the first - and last - time on Valentine’s Day. Our biggest issue... were the sweet-and-sour fried wontons shown in my image. They were not wontons. They were wonton skins. They sent us a box fullof fried wonton skins with zero filling. I’ve never seen something like that and I’m still shocked. Normally if food isn’tgreat I don’t put a review, but just because of these wontons I had to share this with others. The rest of the food wassubpar. It looked like all of the food was boiled instead of fried and the noodles that came with it also look like they werejust boiled with no flavour or spices. It was not good food, and it wasn’t even cheap which would make me expect lower qualityfood. The only thing that saved them was their almond soo guy chicken. That was well-made and tasted good. But we ordered that,black bean tofu, Cantonese chow mein special, and the wonton (skins), so 1 out of 4 isn’t a good experience. It saddens me topost bad reviews, especially for a restaurant during this time, but what we received was just unacceptable and I don’t wantothers to have a similar unexpected experience. Read more

Love the food but their portions drive me insane. This is the only Chinese food place that doesn’t fill up the container.... Every time we’ve ordered from here (and we order fairly regularly), the containers are never filled up fully. Sometimes it’snot too bad but other times like today is really frustrating. We ordered beef Lo main and this is what we got (see picture).Next time we order, I’ll make sure to address this because this is way too frustrating.
