I recently organized a charity event for a young girl who was hit by a car. Our team approached several businesses looking for... donations for raffle prizes. Rob, your generosity was exceptional. You were beyond kind in donating food for our event, a large$ value in DQ gift certificates, as well as meals for the family impacted by the accident. I have to say you were the kindestbusiness owner I encountered throughout this process. When I told the family of your kindness, they said that their daughterloves Dairy Queen. There are many pics of her in the hospital with blizzards that visitors brought to her. One of the giftsyou provided was two blizzard of the month cards. My family and I have been ordering our birthday cakes from the Boardwalk location since the nearby Waterloo Costco was built.... I've never left a review and it's definitely time I did so! We love the fantastic service and products we get when we visithere. Having a store only open for half the year in our hometown, I love that we can order a cake a few weeks in advance duringthe winter and it's always ready when we need it. Furthermore, the taste, decor and quality are consistent every time we stopin. We also love the hot food items, as our store isn't an eat in establishment and has no grill. Therefore, those menu itemsare unavailable and it's nice to try something different. I wanted to comment this time around because the level of patienceand service we got was particularly appreciated. For the past 2 years our family has been extremely lucky and avoidedcontracting Covid. Unfortunately, it finally hit our home the week we were due to pick up our cake. I called the store andexplained the situation. They were happy to delay making my 40th birthday cake until a day or two before we could pick it up, toensure the freshest product possible. In the end we were only 5 days later than expected. As usual, their craftsmanship wasbeautiful. Today I celebrated my milestone birthday with the most delicious, beautiful cake I could've hoped for. Thank you somuch to the staff at the Boardwalk location, your wonderful service and the excellent quality of your food was the literal icingon the cake today! Can't wait for our next visit ????
