The food here never disappoints. My new favorite for breakfast is Sam's Omlet. The omlet is prepared with baby spinach,... mushrooms, feta and mozzarella cheese. So delicious. The staff is always friendly and food doesn't take long to come out of thekitchen. Of course time may very depending on time of day. The serve Colectivo coffee and the staff keeps it coming. Many options for breakfast and lunch, and some with a Mediterranean twist. I had the eggs Scandinavian - cold smoked salmon over... spinach on the fluffiest English muffins topped with poached eggs and plenty of house made hollandaise. Others at the tableenjoyed the gyros skillet, 2-2-2 eggs-bacon-pancakes, and a piping hot Ruben that was steaming to the last bite. I really wantto go back and try the shakshuka - amongst others. I have been frequenting Cafe 36 since it was Sam?s in Tichigan. Such a nice warm atmosphere with quality dishes and friendly... service. Sam is a wonderful person who doesn?t mind taking a few minutes to say hi. You leave the cafe feeling more like a guestthan a customer. (I definitely recommend trying one of the tasty Mediterranean options on the menu.) Read more

Edit x2: Got the Sam's omelette. Didn't disappoint. So good! Edit: Still a really nice place for an early morning start during... the weekend. Wait staff are friendly and food is great. Tried the super hopple popple. It's very good and filling, but I madethe mistake of choosing American cheese. Don't do the meal a disservice. If I had to do it over again, I'd have chosen a mildercheese like Swiss. Other than that, great experience. I want to get the Sam's omelette next time. Spinach and feta? Yes,please!
