Reviews for Waterdown Tea House in Waterdown, ON
7 of us were here to celebrate an upcoming Wedding and were greeted and treated by all Staff with open arms. The Owner ( forgive... my forgetting her name ) came to our table and introduced herself, and also came over when were about to leave- we thanked herfor the fabulous service, and fabulous food. Such fresh, tasty, and beautifully plated sandwiches, scones ( to die for ) anddessert goodies. A new menu item was a chicken/apple salad on a flaky 'tart' which was a hit with our table. We all left withdoggie bags and would recommend an afternoon at this lovely Tea House Read more
The other day, I had the pleasure of sharing tea with friends at the Tea House. This was my first visit to the Tea House. I had... a lovely time, enjoying a sample of very fresh sandwiches and scones ( so delicious!!!). The staff were attentive and friendly. The ambiance quaint and the table setting lovely. An outdoor patio is available as well, so I am looking forward to sittingoutside on my next visit. I will keep this lovely spot in mind if I ever need a venue for any kind of family celebration! Veryfriendly and accommodating establishment! Thank you for a very nice, afternoon tea experience! Read more
Dirty dishes. Spoilt fruits. Micro aggressions. Terrible Service, not worth the drive. Would never visit this place. We visited... on a Sunday long weekend for their opening appointment. Katherine was my server she was horrid. Rude dismissive, condescending, she didn?t give me time to pick me own tea, she picked it for me! She was hostile, she kept coming over with telling we had torush. She was clearly biased. She didn?t spend any time explain the menu to us but spent time chatting and socializing withother tables. I?ve had better tea experiences in Ontario and this isn?t it. I?m waiting to speak with their management and willupdate with photos(of the dirty cutlery and dinnerware)? I don?t want anyone wasting their money going here. Until then here ispicture of the $40 tier we got, with spare food and old fruits. This was not worth our $200 bill for 4 people. Read more
Today bring Mothers Day we got to experience the Waterdown Tea House. We enjoyed every bit of our Mothers Day tea. From the... moment we arrived we were warmly greeted. The selection of teas were fabulous....so many choices. The cranberry chicken saladwith apples was my absolute favourite. The Scones with cream and jam....so crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Staffwere attentive and friendly! It truly was a wonderful experience for both my mom and my daughter's first Mothers Day tea! Thankyou for making the day so special and for all your hard work. Read more

The experience was great here! Sandwiches and sweets were delightful. The owner came out to greet during half way through our... tea to ensure everything is great. The waitress was also very personable and made sure we were well taken care of. Would comeback and recommend this place! Read more
Unfortunately I did not get her name, but whoever the single server was working yesterday saved our entire high tea experience.... If you?re looking for high tea in the Dundas/Hamilton area you are kind of limited and unfortunately this is one of youroptions. I took my gramma here yesterday and we were both so disappointed. The quality of food served to us was kind of a joke. The sandwiches were very boring and sparse- nothing cute, nothing delicious or unique. The scones were like rocks sprinkled withwhite sugar. They did however serve real Devonshire cream which was a plus, but the jam was out of a jar. The worst part of the$40 !!! Food tier was the pitiful ?desserts? the cookies and chocolates were from dollarama- the fruit was a joke and the minicupcake and cheesecake were definitely from a store/ nothing home made?!?! The tea selection was good and honestly our waitresswas so so nice and lovely to talk to she saved the day. I would come back to talk to her! The high tea was not worth $100 forthe two of us.
