Vegetarian - veg futo Maki roll, veg dragon roll and tofu terriyake dinner. Always very good quality food, big pieces of roll... and good service. We have been going here for 3 years and the quality hasn't gone down. Can't wait to eat in again! I make aspecial trip to go and eat the food here from Burlington as there aren't any good sushi places here for vegetarians - I've trieda few and they have been okay. Nothing compared to Sushi Ya. The sushi here is quite good (it's not high end sushi but good quality for standard takeout). I will say the prices are a bit... high for coming here regularly so I generally save these trips for special occasions. Owners are very nice and organized. Neverhad to wait for my order. Read more
This is a yummy sushi restaurant in Waterdown. For take out they were generous with the soya sauce and the ginger. It is not... high end Japanese but for what it is, you can?t go wrong for a delicious sushi dinner. Read more
This sushi is absolutely delicious! Very fresh, excellent value for the price. Wonderful service. Easy curbside pickup. Ordered... the Maki + Sushi tray tonight (Christmas Day) for curbside pickup. Just as I was heading to pick it up, Waterdown had a massivepower outage. The staff at Sushi Ya were working by flashlight, and brought my order out to my car right on time with noproblems. They even included a little Christmas gift of green tea packages. Thank you Sushi Ya! This is our new go-to place;can't wait to go back. Read more

I've been to well over a dozen sushi places in the GTA, and this place is right up there with some of the best of them. Great... portion sizes, tasty house specials, and remarkably fast and friendly service. Presentation was also very cool. Hope this placeis here for a long time - Waterdown deserves a spot like this!
