Super fast and friendly service! I came in with my two toddlers - to which most service staff seem to cringe - but the staff at... this A&W seemed genuinely excited to see us! Please dont go to this location , its the second time im having bad experience with this place. Today i bought poutine with a... coupon, and my poutine was only half in the box, i think they didn't liked me using the coupons. Never enough sauce anymore... ask for extra sauce... I watched the screen to ensure it was listed... this is their version of... extra sauce... there's a drop of sauce! This isn't even regular amount and it's what gives the food flavor! I tried asking fora container of sauce on the side and was only told no that there is already extra sauce... we regret getting A&W every timenow!!! Used to love it... Read more
This A&W is like any other A & W. The staff are courteous and friendly and they are also helpful. They are definitely following... covid guidelines and everything appears to be clean and orderly. The breakfast hash browns are probably the best in the fastfood industry. The drive-thru was fast as well. Read more
Out shopping in the area and decided to stop in A&W Waterdown for a quick bite. Ordered 2 teen burger combos as per coupon.... Drive thru moved along quickly however they forgot my onion rings instead of fries, luckily I caught it before I drove off andthey quickly apologized and bagged up the rings for me. The burger tasted great, light, fresh , hot and filling. Fries were alsofresh, not overly salted, thick cut and also filling. The onion rings however were a bit of a let down. They were very bland, still warm and crispy but bland. It seemed like it was missing the seasoning salt. However overall this was a good place toeat, I personally would never buy here without a coupon as they are quite over priced. 4/5 for me, I would go back just cuz theywere nice , food was fresh and hot. Friend have been telling me that a and w has improved in terms of quality, so tonight I decided to purchase a double mozza... burger combo which came to $15. I must say, I am very disappointed with the meal I received for the price I paid. First offthere were very few fries as you can see In The photo. The burger was cold, and it seemed that they found the smallest piece ofbacon and placed it on the burger to just say they had bacon. I understand that this is a fast food establishment but qualityand quantity does not seem to be consistent nor a too priority. I doubt management reads this but I thought I would share myexperience with others to see if they had the same experience. Read more
EDIT: I was contacted by the staff and was genuinely apologized to and was offered to receive the same combo for free next time... I come back. I would have preferred a gift card or credit as its not a normal A&W I go to but I'm happy I was repaid for theerror. Smashed, leaky cups, unseasoned burgers, and blatantly RAW BACON on my burger. I will be contacting head office as thephone number for this place is not in service, I have also sent A&W messages on social media sites. After sitting in the drivethrough for 10 minutes (Which honestly is normal for me at this point because I usually love A&W and know its worth the wait)and paying $30 for two burger combos, I was expecting my regular A&W and after taking a few bites out of my burger I realized itdidn't taste very good. Opened it up to find white raw bacon, looked like someone just took it out of the package and threw iton the burger without cooking it. Patties were overcooked and not seasoned at all. Asked for extra mayo and my chicken buddy burger just fell apart because they put more mayo on it than chicken or bun. This... location just lost a customer. Just awful care. What a waste of money. Read more
